is there a way to use the tech update save with pre tech version? i had no idea it was so bad after the tech update and got far quite a bit

Sorry not very techie so need something explained. I've downloaded the new version but it wont seem to sync with my current save. It says not compaitable with this version or something similar. I may have a different download to the one in the patreon link but obvioulsy would like this to move over as cannot put the hours in the new update.

Yes. Remake isn't compatible with old game saves.

from my FAQ:

Saves from v21.0.0-wip.4468 and newer should be compatible with v21.0.0-wip.6440.

Saves from v0.20.16 and previous versions are not compatible with any v21.0.0 or later due to new code and variables, triggers, etc.

I know this is all part of a tech update. I may (probably am) be nuts, but it still uses Renpy though. May I ask what the tech update is? Did the program language change dramatically?

If you are playing v0.20.16 - there are mini games to earn money.
If you are playing v21.0.0 - the only mode is preview mode - which is "cheat mode" - with full stats and a ton of money as is told to players when they start the game. Anon has nearly $10 million in the bank.

Incest Patch for the latest update (WIP 6440) and the Pre-Tech Version (0.20.16)

This is a patch that reverts back the relationship of the characters to how it was before the change in Patreon policy.

Why use this patch? ​

Much more comprehensive list of changes to dialogue. I checked almost every line of dialogue and made sure it flowed correctly. This is not just a simple name change for the characters, but whole blocks of lines are back to their 14.5 version of the game (the last version that has incest). New dialogue written for this tech update also were taken into consideration since DarkCookie is adding new story beats. I'll try to make the dialogue conform to their familial relationship as much as possible. I also modified the art asset to fit the new widescreen resolution of the game, and will continue doing so as needed.

What about other incest patches out there?

outdated and shouldn't be used. Lots of text bugs and not made for the latest pre-tech version.

is not compatible with my patch. It hasn't been updated in a while and all the changes that patch offers is also included in my patch.

Relation Tweaker Mod is not compatible with my patch. However, I recommend using this one instead if you want to customize the relationship between characters. This patch allows step relations or mixed step/incest relations. It works with the new tech update only.

Relation Tweaker Lewd+ is standalone and should work with any incest patch/mod. It works with the new tech update only.

Naughty Tribute Mod is not an incest patch, but a mod for the pre-tech version (0.20.16). There are some compatibility issues I haven't looked into yet. Someone in this thread uploaded a fix here, and while I haven’t personally tested it, you’re welcome to give it a try.

Installation:​

Pick only one version of the mod. Use the appropriate patch for the version of the game you're using.
