Actually fucked up though that the tech update was supposed to take 3-4 months. At the current pace of the update if we calculate that they've made 80% progress on the tech update in 34 months, it will take 9 more months to get another 20% for 100% completion fyi

we are now 20 months since this post which means we've made 6% progress in that time, every percent has taken over 3 months

if we continue at this pace we will need over 46 more months or 3.8 years to reach 100% of the tech update

For one, it added Debbie's pregnancy, which was never in any version of the official Summertime Saga before.

so ive bin waiting for this tech update to be finished so i could enjoy all the new content in one go but considering its bin a couple of years now and since i don't see it being finished any time soon would it be more practical to play it now instead of waiting lets say argument's sake 3 years asking for advise from those who have played it and to get there view ?

There is just a little bit more new content for Debbie (a lot of the old content is missing) . A few new good sex scenes with her and what feels like a rush story to her pregnancy (no preggo sex if you are in to that sort of thing) . Avery thing else is less than the original game - characters sex scenes and story . I think only Jenny has her full content restored as of now. And i don't recollect her having anything new mostly old assets and scenes. Some of the new Debbie scenes are really good , but we are taking about one or two scenes.

There was rumor of additional new scenes for her in the bedrom at the beach house during the night.

They really just need to stop making new content like the upcoming japanese restaurant and just power through redoing the old content section by section. In the teachers storylines half of their scenes are still the old art, so why bother re-adding them to the game if they're not complete.

I'd have liked to play a finished game, but that's seemingly never coming (in my lifetime).

I've always liked the game, but I can't wait for a ending that may never come, see ya' in 2075 folks.

Dev has no plans to finish the game. Said so as early as 2017. They intend to always rework it; add new NPCs, locations, etc.; add new storylines, add features and more.
