To be honest, I really enjoyed that update, even if it seems little, but I really appreciate Jenny's remodeling, it's way better than before, specially playing every update makes the player go through the whole story a few times, which makes me get sick of the same scenes and characters more and more. so, a remake is a nice refreshment. looking forward for future updates. I thought I'd help by giving my feedback as well since I only post questions if I ever post. oh and Debbie looks awesome now, too bad you only get to see her new model in a very few occasions.

Nice assumption. I give him $2 a month or $24 a year. It's a pittance to help him continue working on the game. I imagine that most of the people pissing and moaning like they are haven't dropped a dime on the game.

Yes, the product is faulty. I just said he's working on fixing it. You need to set your emotion aside and use logical thinking. Adding new content to a faulty project just makes it more faulty.
Perhaps you are correct, but it helps if you assume that they do so you do not have this misshapen view on how to handle criticism when you call it all pissing and moaning. Being this defensive is not a healthy relationship with a product

I am thinking logically, I value my time and money, we aren't on the same wavelength if you think that the last decent update being over a year ago is a small issue and that possible internal issues are an acceptable excuses.

6 months for one character's few scenes? Shut up and take my money! :poop:
I understand that it can be bugs after release, it's completely normal. But really, all this time for only this content?

For the money he earns I understand that this is his full job. If I work with the same time progress, I would finish web site landing pages on years.
Well, most likely I would be fired on a few weeks with this kind of progression.
Totally true.
Did you just see the amount of cash they get every month ? Almost 50k $ dudes !
Make a simple calculation...

3 members for art team : 1 chief and 2 assistants (5000$ + 5000 + 5000) = 15k $
3 members for coding team : 1 for pure coding, 1 for coding & posing and 1 for coding & bug fixing (5000 x3) =15k $
1 webmaster : 5000 $
1 writer : 5000 $

Differents costs of production : 5-10k$

Why 5000 for salary ? Because it's more simple for understanding the situation : with 5000 $ for salary, every month, you can have a comfortable life (not luxuous of course, but simply comfortable) and it can be your daily professionnal activity.

And, what do we have ? NOTHING except a mere release in six fuc**** months ???
One advice my friends, do like me and cancel your patreon subscription to this project. They think you’re idiots and cash cows...

There was literally nothing new, damn shame really, damn shame.
You literally need to look up the meaning of literally, because you are totally wrong. While the Jenny storyline is similar, there's been a ton of rewrites, and a ton of art that is new or changed.

The problem here is that you see the game as a product : DC is not selling the game, you guys are DONATING money to him and the game is totally free, no one is forcing you to give him your money. Plus, I don't see how he makes you lose your time since you're not devoting a second to this project.

While I respect your argument, it's such a moot point. Sums like 12 to 25 bucks a year are less than an hourly wage for most. That's nothing anybody should care about, let alone complain about it for hours, days or weeks, as some seem to do.
If you aren't happy it's totally fine to cancel your pledge, but complaining this much because one spends a couple of bucks (if any) and get's a less than one expected is indeed quite strange. It's like complaining for days that the last movie you watched or the last 2 cocktails you had weren't good. It's fine if that's your opinion but in the end nobody will really care about it for more than 5 minutes.

I don't mind critism if it's constructive. But most of it comes off more as uneducated raging. Comments such as "Six months and THIS is all we get?!" shows me that 1. They don't know how to count as it's been five months and 2. They don't understand what it actually takes to develop a game. They think it's simple without offering anything that is actually helpful.

The last large update was a year ago, yes. So what? It doesn't mean it was the last decent update. Diane's was fine but not large. I value my time and money as well. But guess what? My time, between updates, is spent on other things. Various video games, hobbies, jobs, etc. My life doesn't revolve around the development of a porno-game. Two dollars out of my monthly income isn't something I place much value on.

Also, it's not possible internal issues. Have you taken a dive into the inner workings of the game? It's a bit of a mess, to be honest. I haven't downloaded the latest update to really compare code to 17.5 or 16 as I'm waiting for the first few hotfixes but I'm willing to bet it looks a bit better now than it did.

I wasn't able to play that much but it's basically as with Diane. If you know her story and enjoy all those small changes and new nuances, which are indeed everywhere, it seems to be a nice update. If you just want to rush through dialogs, don't reallly care about details and want to have a ton of new scenes, it's not. But that has basically always been the case.
Thank You. So for the new and reworked content I should replay aunts route(and mom/sis because they are required to do so iirc)?

Im huge fan of DC but this update was a total garbage in the way of not having new content, 5 month's and the content is simply rework nothing very new to see and the other 3 animations that should be in this update are coming in 1 month due to lack or management, idk wtf is going, the animations should be the frist or middle phase of the developing but no the animation were the last thing to do and its taking 1 week each with is BS the animators should be ashamed (i see people doing way harder animations in less then 3 days or even less), Jenny content is simply disappointment it doesn't explain the 5 months the art is in total were done in less then a month (we all know it took more due to DC only doing 2 to 4 hour max of work each day knowing aswell he takes about 1 hour on stream to do a character) the rest was coding and animations, i do hope the 18.5 extra scenes are worth the wait if not im done with SS, the development is taking longer and the content is shorter but the patreons say that dev team is producing more content then usual idk where they must be dreaming or just kiss-ass, this update have at least for those i have encounter +30 bugs, i think its better if DC get another coder to help Dogeek and find a bloody artist to do some art cause dc is no longer having the some pace has he had before. very disappointing.

Debbie has no stat progression tied to her character so it shouldn't take long. Jenny took so long because Dexterity stat progression was weaved into her old storyline. Changing that in an already unstable and highly customized Ren'py engine lead to a ton of issues.
No one that's complaining has figured out all the engine changes. They basically think they bought a Supra when the engine is that of a Mitsubishi and don't see the differences in engine and under the hood stuff.

what I don't understand is everyone is saying to wait a week or two for the bugs to get worked out before playing the games update to where it is playable again, but I though the whole last update was mostly bug fixes

I don't know what you're all fighting for.. I personally enjoy Milking Saga.
It has an amazing milk story, even has a dedicated milk-farmer and your personal milk-cow to fuck.
And it's always important to transfer the fictional Milking fantasy to the real world.
So all the fans must experience the divine Milking of their wallets and keep supporting the Milking.

I'm off to drink some Milk..all this milking got me thirsty.

To Assume is to make an Ass out of U and Me. Don't assume.

No, @Jonboy80 isn't being defensive by pointing out flaws while not giving in to hyperbole as your other comments have.

Also, no one said it was acceptable or not. Merely that DC is working on things under the hood as well as spank material.

Factor in loss of productivity with a coder leaving the project, time spent on other details of the project, and everything else, and yes, it's safe to say that an update takes a bit longer to finish than normal. People are just blueballed to hell and back because they fail to play something else in the meantime and focus too much on one game.

It's a repeating theme that the first few days of an update are rocky and the patches fix that for a smoother ride. I'm waiting till 18.5 since I'm gonna be busy redoing the entire game.
