I really think that you and alot of others who are overly concerned with release dates and their correlation to patron donations are confused about what being a patron means.

You are NOT paying for content, at all. You are donating, I. This case on an automatically recurring monthly basis, to an artist be cause you like their art and their process. This has been the case historically with artists and kings/rulers/wealthy people. This is also the case now. You, as the patron, are SUPPORTING THE ARTIST. Period.

You are not contracting for specific pieces of art, that is a commission. You can remove your support of the artist if you feel compelled to do so, but don't treat the situation. As though the artist owes you anything. They dont. And vice versa, you owe the artist nothing.

Please SOMEONE tell me they understand this dynamic!

You’re basically deciding why people donate to a Dev. Each person has their own reasons, not just to be a “Patron of the Arts”. If that’s your reason... Good for you. I donate so he’ll continue to make SS. I can’t decide why people donate or why they stop. If Darkcookie drops the ball a starts releasing Crap, I’ll stop. If he keeps releasing every 6 months I’ll lower my donation. It’s all up to me.

DC shows since the beginning, that he and his staff are incompetent. Look how big the scope of the game become and still the didn't fix the save compatibility problem. But what can we do? who's gonna Force him to do a decent job?

save compatibility is one of the poll options that they update based on, its tied to Erik/his moms story. whenever that wins a poll, they'll fix the save stuff.

I share many of the complaints of people about the game, but I think that if you are not patreon you do not have to complain about a game that you get for free. Let those who support the development complain about that.

we're counting with patches(i didnt meant fixes by the way)as updates?cool,finnaly we will see 3 updates for year again...(sorry bro,couldnt help holding the joke)maybe 4 or 5 this year if DC decide to do the same with Eve update...
dont get me wrong cava,but DC asked if people wanted him to stop doing those kind of updates/patches in exchange of denser and more worked content(which in sense would explain the time they took)and yet here they are again,even with all the time the updates take to be worked on....i do love DC work,and wish all the luck for completing it,but that is as far i will go,not funding him anymore,even more with the price dollars weight on my wallet...

yup I wasn't counting patches like this 18.2 thing I do get it tho people are impatient and just hate slow updates buuuut man gotta make it work. if its buggy as all hell then I d rather just wait for every version from 16.5 to 17.5 or 18.0 to 19.0 its very annoying to see people freak out over this... either go rub or tug one out in some butter filled outhouse or just watch a fuck faced fat midge on youporn or something... throw a midget on a short pony D

yet he tells you? get your bum ass complaints outta here! he said this problem would be fixed when its able to be fixed and that would be when its done or almost complete. if you read the descriptions don't complain you know what you are getting into just like everybody else.
