This game is free to play for everyone so why would he do that?
It went from 35% to over 55% in 2 weeks now so give it some time and you to will get to play this free game and its new update.

Your opinions may vary, I know what I think. Most likely he's just not updated it. Whatever, there comes a point when silence is not the best policy. At least someone seems to have cleared a lot of the comment spam away. So, there's that...
I see it more as they are gathering information before doing one of their duties.

As has been pointed out more than once, the update is more than double a usual update, and an update is usually around the 6 week mark.
The art hasn't changed from 15/17 in three weeks, the coding and posing has though.
DC needs to take a break from the streaming until the art is done, he gets way too distracted when doing a stream. Last week I watched him do almost nothing for half an hour because he went off on a tangent about something. And then people are asking him the same questions in chat over and over, and he tends to answer things a lot, which becomes more of a distraction. When he had the other devs on the stream once, he got a ton of drawing done in the background.
That's what happens when you get rid of release dates and thus any commitment to get something out in a timely manner. Cookie always has an endless list of excuses but the reality is when there was a list of content and a release date development of this game moved infinitely faster.
Also how fucking long does it take for these idiots to setup a god damn wiki. It's been under construction for like a month. It takes literally 15 minutes to get a wiki up and running and styled.

It may have been but it is over 2 months now since 0.14.52 can out on the 12th of January.

after listing too the game Dev's talk on the live stream I am looking forward to trying the new non Incest format, yea I want the family back the way the game started out as but I since I am a poor man I can't donate so I don't have a right to wine and cry about the new rules by Patron though in my opinion Patron can burn in hell. Sorry about the slight side track, I want really want to try the new format but I also hope that some smart programmer can make a patch so we all get the original game back.
BTW if there is a patch for the game and it comes back in the original format then we all get a bonus we get 2 games for the price of one :extremelyhappy:

Why is the last update lackluster?
0.14.5 added more content than both Mia's and Erik's combined. And I think Mom's story is absolutely brilliant and far better than Erik's quest or Mia's segment of her quest (Helen's route is definitely more satisfactory).
Silence!?!?!?! DC's been streaming almost daily since February, at least. And he EXPLAINED how the tasks bars work a million times.
