Well, I'm actually pretty sure that's not going to work that easy. The backgrounds/items/etc. do have a unique style aswell and are often made during streams so the community can influence them and be creative - it would be sad to lose those inputs. The problem is indeed that it's not just "one or two guys" but at least one artist who has to be highly skilled and very creative and whom he has to trust. If he has to make detailed sketches for that guy and change small things he doesn't like afterwards the time saved will be very minimal. At least I can fully undestand that he doesn't want to tarnish his own project by introducing anything he doesn't like.

Edit: It's possible that I'm oversensitive but I personally really couldn't tolerate different art styles in the game at all.

DC has been looking around for a new artist for at least the last half year. None has come forth that can match the style necessary and reach the quality standard that has been set.

It is easy to say with one or two people it would become faster. But it really is not like that. And is also hard to explain.
Because the other two who come to help him, do not know how DC wanna is artwork.
Who i mean. DC already know what happens in his mind. In other words, he already has a vision of how his story on paper must be drawn. Although he explains in words how a scene should be, surely neither could draw it as he would. That is one thing is how it draws DC is one thing is how it would be drawn right with explanations. It is difficult to explain what it is.

if I knew how to draw it would bother me, have to settle for a design made by others, only based on explanations. Imagine DC that explains this is the school, this and the scene and another must then draw it in its place. Surely it would not be the same thing.

Sorry for me bad english, i hope I have explained the thing well. Because the thing is really complicated.

Anyway i really hope that some good and great modder here at last do a incest patch. because play the game without it, is really stupid. And the excitement go really down. The 80% of the excitement is about incest for me, so...

CG means "computer graphics" so it's basically just all the images, scenes etc. from the game in case someone wants to see them without playing.

Whether a 3 months+ wait is worth it or not will be determined by the content in the next update. Personally I like a consistent update than a longer wait wait time for a little more content. But that's just me.

Go back a page and look what I posted. If you look back in those 70+ pages, you realize the cyclical pattern of this forum where people go into a post about one part of a topic until it's exhausted then go in another direction until that's exhausted. Which was the point. It wasn't about you, just me pointing out that the circle of Summertime Saga begins anew with your post.


Anyway, something I was going to comment on was the fact that we have a cyclical turnover in the forums which has us repeating a LOT of the same topics over and over again. To put it bluntly, we're stewing. Not going anywhere, we're just mulling over the same topics with no depth and dearth to what's in here. Sure, I'd LOVE to talk about the story and specumalate on some of the relationships but when you've had to answer how to find Jenny's cheerleader outfit for the 1300th time, it's hard to have some discussions.

So I'm kinda proposing something to somewhat alleviate this.

SS needs a FAQ. 1 page, 1 post, Frequently Asked Questions. Stickied at the top. Closed off for discussion so people can see what's been said before.

More likely that they will do what all other Patreon games have done and rename the characters/relationships so as to not make them related. (Landlady, exchange student, neighbor, that kind of crap.) I doubt anything will be straight-up removed... but I suppose we won't know for sure until it's out.

You are right, DC already said on stream that basically only dialogs will be changed. So nothing will be lost.
