It's amazing how sometimes a person can underestimate how much work is involved in unraveling and straightening out 4+ years of code written by 4+ people with skills as low as pleb (DC, himself). And then adding scenes along the way to release while the tech update continues. Making sure those scenes get in the new code, as well. Then, on top of that ... making sure all 20,000+ images that make up the scenes in the game are posed in the right locations when backgrounds go from 4:3 to 16:9. And then, for some reason, more tasks are added along the way when it's realized how some things need tweaked that initially weren't a problem but now creates issues moving forward. DC's not without his faults - but at the same time, there are projects that are bigger than initially considered (kind of like that roofing estimate that blows up when the roofer finds out there's dry rot in the rafters that wasn't apparent when they came out to bid the job).

Now, let's go download the game for free to the public off his website tomorrow to show him what we really think of his delays?

If you are correct on the workflow they chose, then you answered the problem in your post. Pleb level coding skill is choosing to "unravel" the code and try and reuse it vs starting from scratch. The sheer number of problems created from trying to use "years of code written by 4+ people" when it is faster and cheaper to start the coding from scratch. They might encounter problems they cannot resolve and be forced to start over. I am just making an assumption from your post and maybe they did start from scratch from the beginning. Either way it is a lot of work for one person. To throw a light jab though, half of one month of this games income could hire a team to get it done in ~two months with clean architecture "best practice" code. But having my own projects (not porn games), I TOTALLY get not wanting others coding my projects or even see my work or code.

edit: when I say two months I mean JUST code. I have no fricken idea how much posing and art would take which I imagine would take much much longer

Actually - I think you mistook what I stated or I didn't make myself clear enough.
DC isn't unraveling the code. He hired an experienced coder to unravel those 4+ years (actually 6+ years) of coding that DC (the plebian coder) had started writing in the beginning and then had several people over the years mostly patchwork into the existing code.

Probably not - probably just revamped animations or alternate angles. There's a changelog in the game if you want to download it ... the link is on the main menu, you can scroll back through all the updates and see what they entail. Or you can quickly glance through the changelog in the OP for general details of each update.

Same answer. No. Judith's update is planned after R(h)onda's and Annie's - both of which come after the tech update sometimes in the next (hopefully) 6 months or so.

Judith, if it makes you feel better she no longer sends out lonely text messages begging you to come see her in the stall. Bad news is there's still the Tech Update, Rhonda and Annie routes before Judith fully gets her time in the sun. So, I dunno, probably about two years from now. So $2,000,000 from now. and thus the bait is laid...

All I know is that I'm checking back in on this game after a long, long time, and while I'm very happy with some of the girls' progress, I'm beyond tilted that Ronda, the cute athletic black girl that has been there incredibly early, still has nothing sex-related and seems to only just now be getting her arc fleshed out, and meanwhile the game has added....some sort of mermaid and actual-cow-girl? And the old hospital worker has scenes?

Yeesh.

After Aqua, updates have focused on: Debbie, teachers, Roxxy, Diane, (Daisy), Jenny (2 updates!), Eve, Consuela, 3 main story updates (to completion), and Odette Halloween update.

Yup, R(h)onda is next in line after the tech update. Her art is already drawn for her update.

It's just disappointing and strikes me as odd that a character I took a liking to all that time ago is just now getting literally anything (aside from that art overhaul that happened at some point). Meanwhile the game has added high-fantasy/sci-fi/I-don't-know-what elements and multiple scenes with a senior citizen, over the resident hot athlete girl.
