It's the same. Even if the incest subplot wins, the update will come in at least a year, since it's about 4 months per update. And after waiting for so long, all updates will be disappointing. Forget about this game. Don't expect something from this game and you'll not be dissapointed.

Problem with this game is, if you are receiving almost 52.000 $ per month for a certain task... would you like to finish that task as soon as possible? Or would you find any possible excuse for continuing doing that task for as long time as possible?

Right now, devs are giving patrons as less contents as possible in order of maintaining them hooked. Too much, and the game will be finished too soon. Too little, and patrons will be pissed off. It's a difficult balance.

Patrons of Summertime Saga, do you want better, bigger and more frequents updates? Stop pledging a month. If the devs see that the number of patrons and incomes have fallen a 15 or 20% in a month, they will get the message.

I am far from an expert but even I know how things work a lot better than you. You have this odd notion that this would be hard to mimic, no offense to DC but it's only unique in it's oddity, not it's quality. It would not be hard to mimic.

It's product, view it as such. As for artists working on lewd art, the only reason more don't when it come's to big projects is because there are very few big projects but it is well known that a lot of artists get by, by doing commissions, often involving really weird shit.

Then that's an even weaker argument. People mimic art styles all the time and it's not exactly like it needs to be perfect, we aren't exactly high art puritans around here.

Irrelevant. You have this weird notion that he needs to pull from people who have worked on adult games. He simply needs people to create art, there are countless people willing to do that for a paycheck, especially one from home. The only real problem I can see is reliability, someone who puts in the work and doesn't flake, but that;s something that's sorted with time.

I would go as far to say that if a vote was put up that most people wouldn't give a damn, in fact would be more than happy to have a different art style for scenes if it meant it came out faster.
