This really depends on the art style and how much Detail you are willing to put in. Sure lots of comic/manga/hentai artists can draw popular characters within minutes. But that usually is also a the same Pose over and over again.
And probably done allot of work/practice/training to get there. This can take an insane amount of hours.

Also most Manga/Anime Art styles are very similar and Generic if you consumed lots of the stuff. Look up how many MC's are called Shin and how much they all look alike its ridiculous. And than those character designs are even used in other manga stuff under different names.

At best you could say that DC still needs to refine his work flow and time management.

Sorry, but it's true. Since i worked with a pro not so long ago and saw what a pro can do (quality / effiscientie) ... Summertime drawer definitively isn't a pro drawer.

Cute butt, the idea that a single artist can do a ton of assets, backgrounds, and cgs within a week is ludicrous. A professional team doesn't even finish within a weeks time. I get the rah rah scam bullshit but you don't have to create lies to make a point.

technically COULD be done... if it was all traced and there was no concept/design decisions made prior to even finalizing the art assets.
or animation. or rigging. or coding.

I like Mia, but I recognize her sole sex scene is pretty weak. It should only have been the start of them fucking. Also, the vaginal sex and creampie should have been saved for its own seperate scene.

Seriously, go full missionary, play it out the same way. The MC slowly inserts with her telling him to go deeper. His cock head reaches her cherry and they start moving back and forth putting pressure on it. Eventually he pops her hymen and goes all the way in.

Her current update was really small by today's standards and the scene feels more or less added at the end to have anything at all.

I hate this approach because why not just add story content to that character instead of wiping it and redoing it all over... sadly this is likely to happen

There's always gonna be a trade-off, quality/quantity, and there's a lot of examples of that on this website, to add to this, the artwork is hand drawn...I've not seen a single artist who draws their art release consistent updates, unless you prefer the stuff done in Paint. Slow updates are a part of this kind of style and no amount of complaining or money is gonna change that.

All that being said, you are gonna have a much nicer time if you just moved on to a Dev who meets your demands.

The progression has slowed down even though the funding has increased, but the updates are bigger than before as well. Although with all the surplus cash-flow DC should consider hiring a few more people, but it isn't as bad as what some people are making it out to be.

Well, that's essentially what happened. The game was never meant to be a game but just a trial in which DC wanted to teach himself how to code. It became popular, he hired some people who continue to built on his stuff and after ~ 1,5 years he simply had to make a decision. To either make it properly, consistent and playable (including having a really playable supported andriod version) or to finish everything in a rushjob with partly really bad art, bad animation, no saves, no proper mobile version, etc. and most importantly no real prespective.

I don't think there are many people out there who really like that approach but I think it's price worth paying to have better game in the end.

Edit: Just to add, I don't think Mia's initial route will change much. After all she isn't like for example Jenny, where the original content was just really bad all around and had to be replaced.

But I can't keep up with the story at the mayor's house (even using the walkthrough) and Jenny keeps getting pregnant ... To correct, should I start over from scratch? The game is great, but great ... it would be a pain in the balls ...
