It was fine when they were just cameo characters that show up in the background or as one-off scenes, but now he's devoting whole storylines to them it's gonna feel pretty cringey by the time the game is actually done (2025-ish?)

^ You can just go to the main page/Patreon and get the 99% complete from DC. All you'd need to do is the new Maria route

Can anybody please explain to me why people want complete saves anyway? I mean, they download the game, but they want somebody else play it for them.

Or do they want the cookie jar unlocked? This is something a complete save cannot do either.

I always find the number of peoples formatting their pc quite astonishing.
It look like more or less 20% of players/members here format at least 2 times per year

If it's just to see the scenes again until the next update drop you can unlock the cookie jar with a fresh start.

Enable the console and type :
unlock_all_scenes()

Or you can use the cheat ingame with the phone

Pro tip : use cheat mode, hit Tab, skip everything, do the routes you want/need. Game is done within 1-2 hours. No whining, no crying, no fake threats. Wait 2-3 months for the next build, redo earlier steps, new build is done in less than 1 hour. Repeat ad nauseam

summertime saga is a good but not great game, and the only publicly reason for not being great is that the project manager/all around manger(Darkcookie) has only done his job as a Art/Designer and has fallen victim to the greatest trap of the indie creator, and that is the failure to do project part of management, if Darkcookie somehow managed to spend a little less than 4 months on a update with 4 scenes and is about to do it again there is no excuse, granted i don't know how long it takes to make a scene. But for a man that make a average of 50k(now 65k) a month, NO and I mean no reason that any bottleneck in production could not be fixed in a matter of weeks and even if he doesn't have enough cash for ever one more staff member(for the company he should own???) it would maybe only take him 2.5k/5k monthly for 30k/60k a year and that assume that all other staff menmber make over 80k a year and still have enough for a 40k emergency fund. The fact that the number one adult creator and the 4th rank on all of patreon doesn't know how to manage is money is laughable and ridiculous. I don't know why they have so many Patreons, actually. It's not that good. Just compare NTL with Treasure of Nadia and its other games, every time it improves its work more and more. 2 update for month with 3-4 scenes.
And looks like much more complex game than summertime.

1) Length of time on the internet

2) Hand drawn vs 3D modeling

3) Installed fanbase of one vs the other has grown exponentially

And I just finished watching the last of the Treasures of Nadia... You can't compare them on the grounds of NTL. Especially since that's been gone out of SS for months to years now.
