I want an honest answer on wtf the tech update is, I keep hearing tech update that tech update this on this game's page for the last, well, almost 2 years actually xD
I'm going to be honest I don't now anything about Renpy I work with rpgm, but having played this game since practically release, on and off. It worked fine, and I did play the last update which worked fine too. I'm not trying to troll or anything I would really like to know wtf they are actually doing. Unless they are completely changing the engine from renpy to something else. The game will still be "click dialogue, click dialogue, click dialogue, click dialogue, ...." with the occasional basic mini game. And for a porn game that is all we want, something simple, easy, with good art style, and decent or better story. which this game had. This tech update feels unnecessary to prolong the games life spam and like people love to say on this site. Milk milk milk
But seriously though, if anyone knows the real reason tell me, i'm curious.

You'll have to wait until when the Tech Update releases... whenever that will be (see the link above).

Thanks I see now, but rather than an actual tech upgrade which sounds kinda misleading (then again english isn't my first language so maybe it's just me) This sounds more like they are simply re scripting the entire game to change the structure and make it look better. Regardless hopefully when it gets here it'll be good. I'm not paying anything for the game so I got nothing to lose but a good time

Strange 4chan doesn't take into account 7 employees or general cost of development. Its usually such a great place for extremely accurate and reliable, totally non-biased information. Or am I thinking of something else?
Please let's not act like paying a handful of guys working a few hours per week using royalty-free and/or pirated software is burning a hole in that budget.

But whatever, it is what it is. Just a shame because the game had something special going for it - and I feel a little bit bad for idiots getting suckered into all these subscription schemes. Or maybe they deserve it.

Actually fucked up though that the tech update was supposed to take 3-4 months. At the current pace of the update if we calculate that they've made 80% progress on the tech update in 34 months, it will take 9 more months to get another 20% for 100% completion fyi

If they're working full time and being paid industry standard wages, it would absolutely cut into that budget. That's like 5-10k per person, monthly. Also proof he pirated software?
