Of course I don't speak for everyone there but I bet that's a great talent pool to find someone willing to do the art for the game given how many users the platform has.

At least I can fully understand that DC doesn't want to work with some random guy who maybe doesn't speak the language or who maybe doesn't even like the game. The game is great because of the motivation and creativity that go into it and because it's not just "some kind of business"...

DC said a while ago that he left the industry because he was fed up with everything that's going on (working on projects you know are bad, doing stuff you don't like, no being able to work as you want, etc.) so I'm fairly certain he won't hire anybody who isn't 100% behind the game.

It may not be the best reason but I think it's pretty convincing and helps a lot to keep the project going.

It is a business though. Every single day people work on things they don't like for money. That's how life works. He needs to get off his only I can do this kick and get someone else to help him actually get this done or else it never will be and he's just gonna keep making a good payday off it.

No, you missed both of mine. The artists have a certain autonomy that they lose when they work for someone else. DC, as someone who worked in the AAA gaming industry, would know full well about this. Further, the niche for adult games is very small. This has only really been growing for the past say... Three years with the growth of Patreon. What they give up is THEIR style to work on DC's which is fairly unique for him. Compare his work to others on Hentai Foundry, ULMF, or anywhere else. How many people make their own custom artstyle and apply it to a game? As I said, it's unique.

Second, you ignore the language barrier, how their process differs from the Patreon model, and conflate nonsense about moving there to the point being that Japan's style of business greatly clashes with the one we're seeing in front of us.

Let it go, man. This really isn't a fight worth having.

Well, it's his project and if he decides that he wants to draw all the art himself, that's perfectly fine with me. Of course it's a job for him, but it's the same as with every actor, musician etc. They all decide what they want to do and what not and one won't force let's say Metallica to make a song with Justin Bieber just because they could possibly make some extra cash with that (it's a stupid example, but you get what I mean).

People are pretty much free to vote with their wallet and cancel their pledge if they don't like it, but nobody can force DC to accept something he doesn't like or want. That's in general the benefit of being self employed by the way...

On the Bugged Erik issue, I gave him the orcette, Mrs. J. came to talk to me about him being bullied, I went to talk to him about it, but the school fight scene won't trigger, and the scene where Mrs. J. arrives to ask me about it keeps happening at random times midnight, afternoon, etc., though the rest will not and it will not progress. Also it keeps doing things like saying he isn't home when he is, or saying he is down in the basement when he is right in front of me in his room. I assumed it was due to me skipping school for the first few weeks, not wanting to trigger any events not related to mom, but I am not so sure now...

Everytime I load a game it goes back to an older save. Is anyone else having this issue?

Not sure in your case, but for me, when I reopen the game, it is defaulting to last page of saves, not the most recent page I have used. I plan to go delete the older ones and see if it helps for next time.

Yes, for now, that is the way it works, as long as it lines up the same way it starts, you 'win', it just takes time before she realizes it.

DC talked about this some time ago and mentioned several problems.

First it's hard to find artists who have the quality (same style, consistency, creativity etc. so DC doesn't have to rework everything to his taste) and once you've done so there are basically two additional problems. One is the money which is a problem that could be solved but the second problem is the fact that SS is a porn game. Those still seem to be somewhat of a "nono" within the industry and many aren't willig to work on such a project since they can't use it in their portfolio and those who do not care about that often rather like to start their own thing and don't want to work for anybody else anymore. So you'd basically have to pay a premium on top of the wages the industry pays and get lucky or you'd have to really lucky to find somebody who wants to work next to his actual job I'd say. Not sure how much DC is actually looking for somebody right now though....

Biggest critique so far among everyone is how much time passed since the last update and how little new content was added. In defense of the creator, he probably spent most of this time fixing his code and clothing rigging system for the bodies.

Now that the negative is out of the way lets focus on the positive. If most of this update was background stuff then it should streamline his drawing and animating process and speed up content timetables going forward.

Now, Most of the people complaining about two scenes probably skipped the playthrough and went straight to them. I played the game from scratch and ignored the teachers and Roxxy and focused squarely on the progression of Diane/Debbie and some jenny. There is a lot of new interactions leading up to Diane's romantic endgame and a lot of reworking of the story progression. Diane's Storyline progression has been GREATLY improved over the last version.
Based on all the new elements added I can already speculate on future content. The Daycare is a solid path to sexual interactions with the hall monitor girl and the principal. We have the beginnings of a solid BDSM progression with the principal and the female students likely ending up in a huge orgy in some bondage dungeon under the school or the principal's house.

But most important of all and what made me the happiest was the Barn being built over Diane's house it's a huge open space with THREE state of the art milking stations and the carpenter mentioning room for expansion meaning more could be added in the future. The creator also added dialogue from the pizza shop, the daycare, and other places and new characters that allude to Diane's milk business being a huge expanding venture and Diane eventually having the hire "more cows"

I can already see the progression of Veronica finding out about Diane's "cows" and wanting to work as a supervisor due to her extensive experience at a dairy back home. Then looking at all the well-endowed females in the game I can only guess at which ones will eventually be hired for "milking" and possibly even "breeding"

It is going to be a long time before he comes back to expand on this content fully but now I know that this is the intention going forward based on the new artwork and storylines and that makes me very happy and content.

In all fairness I am biased. The Diane storyline with breeding and milking machines was by far the biggest draw for me after Debbie.

P.S. You do in fact see Diane pregnant. You play the minigame until you win then you wait the same amount of days that it took for the barn to be built. When enough time passes you go to the barn and you will see a noticeable bump in her belly and a subtle swelling in her breasts. Then ask her how the baby is doing and you get new dialogue. The pregnant Diane picture was extremely well done and did a lot more for me than the fanart pics. This is an important detail not to be overlooked because it proves that the artist has the ability to draw extremely well done "pregnant" versions of most of his characters which many artists fail miserably at.
