Considering they have multiple devs there at this point it would be faster for them to build a completely new game engine to replace ren'py than to continue doing this. They work like 3 hours a week at best

I can see how this sucks for pirates, because they only get the updates. Patreons get further incentives and they're apparently quite happy. I bet most Patreons don't want the game to end, because they enjoy the process and everything it entails.

This is how it will go made a lot of the tech update a lot of people back in, story goes forward then oh crap we getting somewhere and we will lose our cash cows can't have that so new, new tech update back to the beginning (reset time).

How do you get the new "random" encounter in the basement. Is that just he landry scene ? Or its somehing else ? And an other thing how can you trigger the scene when she is mooning on the kitchen's counter ?

Well, at least you gotta admit he has some creativity in making up stuff in changelog like "Split out Maria hair flower", "Anon gets wet after using shower", "Enabled hand-holding in mall visit" or "Improved lightning of Josephine's teeth" so he wont have to admit that whole update is de facto 2 scenes with no story added XD
