I guess nobody really knows right now. DC said a few times that he likes those choices but in recent times he mentioned that they may remove them because they are unpopular among players. Jenny's story is kind of a compromise and one won't miss any scenes etc. - unlike in Erik's or Mia's case. Since both their updates won't happen anytime soon there's certainly room for DC to change his opinion again.

You wil miss the break-free scene of the camshow if Jenny is dominant. And as far as I see, there is no possibility to make her more submissive once her story is complete.

How do I fix the bug, that causes Diane not to change into her cow suit if she had taken it off earlier? I'm using Lain's Mod Pack.

That is really a bug and currently unfixed. I will look into it and include a fix -- if possible -- in my mod.

Concerning Jenny's update

I know a lot of you guys felt dissapointed in 0.18, but be assured that it was a necessary step, and along with a brand new story, it brought modding capabilities into summertime saga, as well as birth control pills for anyone not interested in pregnancy content.
Additionnally, 0.18 requires two playthroughs to be "completed". Indeed, jenny has two paths the player can take, a more dominant path, and a more submissive one. Most of the changes are just dialogue changes, but I found that it adds an extra layer of flavor to the character.

I'm guessing this is based on your breakfast table scene where you have the chance to say something or stay silent.

There are several occasions (four I think). Twice you can stay silent or say something, and you can refuse to give her the money she demands. I am not quite sure when that occurs.

I get that pregnancy is a kink for some people, but it's a really difficult thing to put in a game like this because you either show the consequences of it which means creating more content or you don't, and DC seems to have gone with the latter which actually turns out to be the worst option.

The fact that your kids just get sent off to daycare and are then forgotten about as you proceed to have more babies with both different women and the same women just takes this game to an even greater level of crazy. Personally, I would have preferred if only a select few women got pregnant and that these had very specific consequences that would be explored. For example, getting Jenny pregnant would expose your relationship with her causing some drama between the her, the MC, and their Mom. As this is not something she would have wanted, she could wrestle with keeping the baby and getting an abortion, then if she has the baby she wrestles with keeping it or putting it up for adoption. If in either scenario she keeps the baby, then the MC doesn't get to have sex with her anymore because she won't let him after getting her pregnant, but if she doesn't keep the baby, then her and the MC will have sex again but she'll be on birth control and he'll always have to wear a condom.

If the game had these sorts of storylines post-pregnancy then at least there would be some sort of consequences for the MC constantly nutting inside all these women instead of just tossing the kids into daycare and forgetting they exist. Other characters with consequential pregnancies could be Debbie, Diane, Mia, Ronda, Roxxy, and Crystal, and every other woman is either on the pill or can't have kids.

No one wants to read an abortion storyline in a fap game. I understand that people have pregnancy fetishes, but don't those people want actual h-scenes with those pregnant women? I don't see the point of adding pregnancy to the game with no accompanying h-scenes.

I like that DC is letting the player knock-up every girl and I'd honestly be miffed if that changed. I think it flows well with the tone of the game. He's working with what he has to satisfy a fetish people like and have asked for and I appreciate that. Though I get what people don't like about it, I still think its a good start to content that may get its own update down the pipeline.

I also don't think pregnancy requires a heavy story investment or changes to explain/expand its consequences since the game is set in a fixed amount of time and has a lighter tone. The goals of the game are to save up money for college, solve your dad's murder, and find a prom date. The consequence of pregnancy can and should be simple and based around the goals of the game.

I made a similar comment in my review of the game where I think the appeal of pregnancy kink is good not just in knocking the women up, but seeing the consequences and impacts on relationships. Jenny being pregnant (and getting caught banging the MC by Debbie and Diane) could've created a lot of interesting storylines over the women figuring out if a harem is what they want, being mad at the MC, and dealing with the social/biological consequences of having kids.

Watching the family (and the other women of the MC's harem) talking about balancing their own lives/kids/having more kids with the MC is hot. Erasing the kids via daycare is not.

*I realise it's optional, and even the fertilisation mini-game can be "cheated" one way or another to ensure "first time" impregnation or none at all.

I'd wholeheartedly agree with this part on its own, if the pregnancies didn't progress beyond a certain point and no children were born, but they do and sprogs do appear.
The game doesn't really have a time-limit for things to happen and be done. It's more sandbox with linear character stories/plotlines. The exception though is with Jenny so far, where we're given choices in how to handle some situations.

Yes, it does.
It's a bit odd at times due to the characters placing emphasis on the familial relations during conversations and during some sex scenes, but it does work.

Yes, but it's just a variant of a scene that exists for everybody. Sure, there's a small difference but it's not like one would miss a full final scene like with Mia/Helen or Mrs. Johnson/June. I think that's actually a pretty fair compromise and he should indeed make quite a few more of those. First it actually moves the game a bit closer to be the Dating Sim/VN it claims to be and secondly it's little work for quite a bit of additional playtime. During the last two years DC pretty much got rid of those "cheap" means to increase content but it may indeed not be the worst idea to increase the replay value for those who like it.

Just what i though,having children really should affect their relationship instead of keep pretending the child never exist,for me pregnancies make the connection that the girls belong to MC after he impregnated them,whch is any mean they willing to raise the baby just for MC as they love him so much..After Jenny update,the pregnancies become a joke..Sister still a bitch even after she get impregnated by MC,only see him as brother,and sex friend..Sadly for us,Diane and Jenny story will stay like this,

Asset reworks

Starting in 0.18.5, we are going to get rid of some art assets of the game, in an effort to make the game translatable, as well as to lighten the workload (ever so slightly) on DC, and make the game's size smaller. So, in 0.18.5, Location unlock popups will be done in code, instead of having dedicated art assets, and items should follow through quite quickly.
As soon as renpy 7.2 is stable enough, and doesn't cause issues with android builds, we will move to that new version of the engine, which will provide a new image manipulator object : im.Blur(). This will allow use to create blurred assets dynamically, instead of having dedicated assets, all in an effort to once again lighten the workload on DC, and making the game smaller. We take pride in having an optimized game, given that so many developpers out there don't take the time to address these issues.
