I find it amazing how so many seem to almost deify these Devs, so many get so upset that the almighty Dev never answers their prayers, and getting bitter about how others might still have faith,

Why else would you throw out "maybe one day DC will notice you" as a jab (you're not the first and won't be the last to let this slip).

None of Omnikuken's postulation has been unreasonable, Milking can always be a possible factor, but it is a lazy accusation to present on it's own that demonstrates a limited understanding of all the other more likely shit that can go wrong with a project.

Higher on my list of possible reasons why this update is taking so long

• Bad work ethic (one or more of the team slacking)
• Bad project management (the ability to gauge work loads/schedules is a skill many of these Devs seem to lack)
• Limited Skills (of one or more of the team is out their depth)
• Fixing stuff can be harder/slower that starting from scratch
• Something got broken with this tech update (might be Code, might be Art)
• All the normal real life shit that interferes with normal 9-5 work.

DC isn't helping himself with bad communication, but it's not an obligation so, meh!

A few things we already know from what you listed : most of them are part-timers, DC really blows at everything not art and the code was a fuckfest jumbled together by ~5 dudes over 6 years of failing

You need to be on that precise step in Erik's route, MC will think "what's that thing Erik wanted"-ish when you go to your PC. If he doesn't, you won't be able to buy it. You can also try variants (put a O instead of o for example). If all else fails, report to the wiki

Yeah that part of the conversation you are cherry picking was me saying, before I started posting in this thread , I had done the proper thing by reading the last 50 pages(so you can come into the ongoing conversations and not look foolish in discussing something that had been covered recently, wish everyone would do that) and that I was not going to re-read the rest of the thread that I had already read in the last 4 years. The part about the CTRL button, I was not asking about. I was saying I had discovered it by accident, not a question requiring search.

So the fail is, I was not looking for anything in that post. So I really did not need to search. Now if you had quoted my first post in that conversation where I did ask what happens if you have 5 girls pregnant... then your comment might have been warranted. That paragraph was after a series of reply's between me and another person and you were taking it out of context.
I had a reason for my first post I was interested if anyone else had tried that and wanted to talk about it not really requiring to see past instances more of wanted to talk about it.

Why not just play the android APK?
Is it because you are using a mod or patch to play the Windows version of the game on your Android device?
If so, my guess it's a problem with at least one of the mods or patches you are trying to use.
Try again without the mod or patch, using a clean install of the game.

My mod (see signature) lets you adjust the text size. I do not guarantee it runs with Joiplay, though I hear it does. I only test the Windows exe and the Android APK.

tbh, this is the biggest problem i have seen with him is him being really bad at communicating, it seems he doesn't really care too much at all.

I think in his case it's more of a problem that he is actually very accessible on discord or while he's streaming 5 times a week. While he's streaming people can just ask what they want to know and he'll usually just answer that right away.
I guess that may be one of the reasons why he objectively "neglects" the official patreon posts a bit.
