Yep, the shorts aren't bad, but they are not the reason he has such huge sucess right now.
Well, I'm not a patreon myself so I don't really have any right to complain for myself, but given the small amount of work he produces I'm extremely surprised by how many people actually support him. It's not even a question of quality over quantity ; most of the stuff he releases is no that well animated, and it doesn't seem like he has improved that much since the past 2 years.
Either he's not focusing on making those animations, in which case 10$ for a fucking 1min average-tier animation is way too much or he's just another procrastinator like so many are nowadays.

correct me if I'm wrong his work becoming worse and boring since sum start the fallout project, but I think sum can be better if these works can be continue to become big project likes ; elastic girl, lara project, Red dead 2 karen, or even making other project. if sum can make a better fallout movie maybe he will become one of the best animator and learn from mistake. just pray that sum will always healty guys....
i dont think it becoming worst it just that he doing what he feels is good if you go on his pateron not much people is saying bad things about it but the non pateron dont like it .In my opioion not all artist make great stuff all the time its difficult on pateron and people paying money . if it was free it was a different story

Look it was my "opinion" I 've patreon'ed sum in past and love there work but. that last one felt like a recolor of some other work.

Really wish he'd stop with the shorts. If he has some RL stuff getting in the way then he'd have more time to deal with them if he'd just stop with the shorts. Plus the longer vids are where he shines the most even in that fallout one which he did state it wasn't going to turn out like he wanted it too.
He does it to keep people's patience. These long animations take tine and it helps to make someshort ideas he wants to perhaps try. I love this short personally.
Finally Tifa video. glad to know that sum is still in production. I really hope sum can make a movie one or two with tifa.
