I feel for him. Having all your income snatched out from under you ruins your life. Working manual labor is some of the most thankless, backbreaking stuff you can do. I used to do warehouse work and I came home everyday with my feet on fire for hours afterwards and completely drained of strength.

This is the case of the creator not advertising himself on multiple platforms and relying solely on only one. He should have been smarter, and make good use of his monthly 3000 dollars like investing, which I think the money is even more than he is telling, considering the different tiers and throughout the years collecting it, because who would burn it all at once the money they get monthly. If he would have been smarter then this situation wouldn't even be painfull.
But who knows, this could be the case of him having an arguement point for uploading even less frequently because now he has a reason for it.

Jesus christ, he should have stuck to SFM rather than switch to Blender. Make up for whats lacking in "GRAFIX" for niche content. He had some Beast/BLACKED/Shota NTR shit going on that no one but General_Butch is putting out. He fucked up that he didn't foster that shit, I mean BLACKED cgi content (Disregarding your own personal feelings towards it) is a money maker. He'd have enough patrons to not actually work. People are still making good shit with SFM, just master it. 26Region is making monsters hentai in SFM, I don't see others making that shit in Blender. It's unfortunate.
To add, I did support it him in patreon from the Lara-Croft shota pirate to the Super Mutant length film; then called it quits since he failed to deliver on the latter. I didn't know he had a day job, it was a mistake for him trying to learn Blender while outputting content using Blender. It's sad to see him fizzle out; I was hoping for my "My Neighbors Wife"

Beast/Black/Shota was more niche back when he started (haven't seen someone else do Black Shota, except Kaiba), and sfm was the norm. But things changed: nowadays those are just more options made by a decent ammount of creators, be it in video or WEG form (I do think WEGs apply).
So artists try to change their content a little, either because they think that will keep support/make more of it or just because they wanna try something new. Some change Software, some try and make things that others don't, some try to put out more content and others try a quality over quantity approach.
Sum didn't fare well with the changes he made IMO, but the support in his patreon kept steady, so he kept going. Now that Patreon finally fucked him over (as it has been doing many others from what I've seen), he's trying to stay afloat by communicating more and finishing his big Blender project. If that works, I don't think he will fizzle out at all, so I hope it does work.
In other news. We might have a late August release after all. Sum said on his Discord that he has 2 more animations to get make and after that is finding VAs (while making whatever editing is possible, I hope). I'm just posting this here because I don't know if everyone that sees this thread is on Sum's Discord or if said Discord can still be joined by anyone.

Is definitely back to sum again how he's going to make those haters become supporter again, sumthindifrnt is absolutely one of the longest and oldest in 3d porn animation if you guys see his Tumblr before the purge, sum started back in 2013 or 2014 that's where the tech not as good as now. When you make something and well known for a long time of course this kind of situation is often happen. Believe or not, if those haters that said to sum what's he doing right now is a scam is called as a warning to sum. Why, because if they still criticizing sum because of the content it's mean that their not only care about money, other supporter, but also sum reputation. I know I sounds like not supporting to sum statement, but I also feel sad because of the sum statement about sum called as scammer. When you talk about money there will be always people that criticism about what your doing worth it or not. Is part of your content, right? people doesn't know that you have other jobs or not, people don't know if you have family to support, and obviously people doesn't know that you are still making content or not. Then you need to explain them more often what your doing. You have supporter that back you up, used that and talk more about your situation, ask for ideas and what you need to do. If I am the one in that position I definitely also give the same statement. That's why you have your supporters, give some of your time as for suggestion about your condition. Money is sensitive matters, people lose their mind and morals if you don't careful. I support sum back in 2017, only for 8 months and stopped because of heavy inflation in my country. I don't stop because of I hate sum contents, I stopped supporting because of the money. YES IS TRUE THAT THOSE OFFICIAL MEMBERS IS SUPPORTING YOU NOT YOUR CONTENT but those content is the benefit of supporting you and that what make people criticize you. Believe me, rational people will only thinks about benefits they will get, so be careful about that. Please, if there's any official member don't forward this massage to sum, it's just a remainder.
