I wonder if Sumthin holds onto all these animation files after he gets his renders done and videos edited together. I wonder how much people would need to pay him to get some of these animations remade with better camera positions. I would really like to see Honoka in NB2 with her original pink hair too. That would be great. A lot of Sumthin's recent work is what I would describe as a delicious candy bar which has been dropped into pile of dog shit. There is a delicious center there that can be salvaged. I write all this hoping he reads this thread sometimes and takes in some of this criticism which I know he doesn't.
There is nothing delicious about something sitting in a pile of dog shit, no matter how much you scrape off. His work as of late has gone downhill, he like many creators that make enough money. Have zero desire to rush or push their projects on time. Why should they when people keep throwing money at them no questions asked. They then release mediocre content and people seem to brush off the candy bar and simply pop it in their mouth like there wasn't a heaping amount of turd to get to it.
I really wish sum had the commitment and skill set to release quality content he made previously but I dont imagine he'll get to that stage any time soon.
I think some of the animations are actually decent and just need better camera angles. Some of them are pretty bad. Everyone saw the Pigmen animation and liked it so it's obvious he can animate to a decent standard in blender. People who say he needs to go back to SFM haven't been paying attention to his more decent work mate in blender of late. SFM is a very obsolete software now anyway. Especially with unreal 5. I don't really know what goes on with him and his process though. It could be he's actually a bad animator and just uses rag doll physics to animate the ass tits and hair of his characters. I don't thinks so though. A lot of the movements suggest he has some idea of what he's doing. I think it's what a lot of people suggest. Sometimes he has fun on a project and puts effort into it and sometimes he's just trying to put out something because he hasn't put out something in a while and doesn't really give a fuck if it's bad. It's not a good attitude to have. I've never seen an animator who goes through such peaks and valleys. Most animators just get better the longer they do something.

Cant blame anyone for not posting anything anymore nobody trusts him and if they do they get a 20secs ass loop animation.
I may become his patreon when he releases the project, because I am currently very interested in it. However, like the guy above me said, I wouldn't pay him $5 just for a 20 sec loop animation.

There were some gifs posted a while back. Can't find them all but this is one of them. I assume these are from the long project. Looks better than anything he's animated so far to be honest. If this is an accurate taster of what's to come from the project and he doesn't fuck it up with awful angles it's probably going to be the best thing he's ever made.
