Oh boy! Let's see which thumbnail pic/gif he's gonna use for his final product.

Snarky remarks aside, knowing how he does his videos, for now, I'll stick with the original Neighbor's Wife series. Because at this point, he's probably gonna ruin it completely by making it not exactly like the OGs.

Case in point, I see these images, and they don't even look like the original house from NW1. It looks plain and boring, instead of the vivid colors it has. Hell, it wouldn't surprise me if he'll not use any of the original locations from his series, which will disappoint me. That's I.

II. The woman that you see here, make no mistake, she looks hot. But she's not how she looks like on the original series. The OG used the Elizabeth (Bioshock) model, via SFM. It Sum is remaking at least the first one, the least he could've done was research for any Elizabeth models on Blender. Same goes for whatever other model he used in the late series. This is a dumb nitpick, but the Eli model made the series interesting to me. Again, I look at this current model, and yeah she's hot, but at the same time, she looks a hella generic, and doesn't even have short hair compared to the Eli model. Again, it's just a nitpick of mine.

III. I'm pretty sure that he's only going to remake the first one (and who knows if he'll do the same for the second one), but I have a nagging feeling that he won't remake the whole series (which includes shorts and spin-offs). The series felt like a long-ass anthology that I always found interest, and I'm pretty sure that he's not gonna pay attention to all of it.

IV. I also have a nagging feeling that he'll ruin it with the camera shots style that he currently uses which: 1. Doesn't focus on the faces of women; 2. Doesn't show the whole bodies of the women; 3. Doesn't show the whole bodies of women, DURING FUCKING COITUS; 4. Barely (sometimes/not all the time/from time to time) shows the dudes ejaculating on the women (not on their faces, their breasts, or their anuses [assuming they're doing anal sex]).

V. An addendum to IV: He's gonna keep ruining the experiences with his jello-like, exaggerated physics. I've noticed that since he started using Blender, and I'm pretty sure that a minority of people here would agree. I'm not saying that I want the physics to be completely stiff and boring. I'm saying that the physics should be life-like, kinda similar to how certain popular Blender porn artists do it, particularly the Overwatch 3D animated porn community.

I wrote this because I'm pretty sure that Sum probably lurks these forums, and he'll get pissed, and probably won't take (and will never take) these constructive criticisms to heart.

Still wish there was an artist, or artists, similar to him.

Yeah but If he fixed his shit then people would see the free previews and be more inclined to subscribe. I was subscribed for a month but then I just got fed up with with all the bad content. If the leaks are all showing bad content then why would he pay? Also why is a complaint about stolen content any less valid than a complaint about paid for content. It's the same f*cking content.

While the Sif model is good it means nothing when you don't do anything with. Camera angles still a issue.

Honestly I miss the old Sumthindifrnt, before his shorts were very good and he took good care of the angles to enjoy the anatomy of the models very well. Today's shorts are mostly very bad, with super weird angles and many times the anatomy of the models are a bit scary xd.

I think like most here, I knew Sumthindifrnt from Man's best friend and Neighbor Wife and they were very good animations, nowadays their "main projects" mostly fall very short in meeting the expectations that their old fans have.

It's true that Savior revived a little bit that essence of their old projects, but still for me it fell very short if we compare it with Man's best friend and Neighbor Wife.

Personally I had planned to subscribe to his Patreon, but with the quality of animations he's making that only 3 out of 10 are good (that's my opinion) I think I'd better save my money to support other creators xd

So, Sum estimates the project to be 70% done, still not setting dates though. Taking a couple weeks off from working on the project so he can do shorts (bad call IMO).
