Camera angles, need to avoid doing loops constantly, the narrative story is decent just need a bit more detail, animation are better though i can say that much so i like where it shows much definition. If it were up to me writting the narrative, i can definitely add some of it.
Visual novels would require him to actually have a cohesive narrative. All of his stories are "Lalala I'm a woman. Lalala. I have a boyfriend, husband, or man I am into. Lalala. Hey look, that extremely racist caricature of an aboriginal culture, poorly modeled black midget with a dick that's a third as long as the model, or random monster with a dick that does not even come close to matching the monster it's attached either wants to rape me and I'm eventually going to enjoy it, or I'm very easily talked into adultery because look it's a dick. Lalala." Sum's writing is grade school bad. We also just sit around hoping it's gets better because at one point he actually put effort into a few videos.

A lot of Blacked artists suffer from this. The cheating is always instant and in the same way woman sees big dick and bam wants it badly

it's interesting how the market isn't saturated with this text + video + cuck flow while the fact sum's getting constant money support from his volunteers by just animating 20 second average looking loops (as close as doing nothing whole year) with still image and dialog stapled over it. instead it's saturated by animators that are so attached on creating simple high quality loops (also freaking futas) and just be another boring copy of one to each other with no money
Sum only makes money at what he does because of the success of the Neighbor's Wife. It came out at the right time, had the right female main character, and had decent voice acting for a porn video slapped together with generic assets, models, and sound effects. Without it sum wouldn't be making the money he currently is. There are not copycats because there's no reason to believe that anyone but sum could pull this malarkey off. You need an initial success to incite interest to lead you to the money pouring in while you sit on your ass putting in the least amount of work possible.

Bad angels, shitty SFX still being overused (like 2 loud claps and one quiet one), and too much text that eats up the run time to make it seem longer than it really is. So he hasn't improved nor changed. Really should just do the VN route. Was better when he got voice actors at the least to make it more immersive. I hate reading my porn.
It is bad man. Compare with his old work is a fall of standard for me. Hell even the scene for start look pathetic.

Sum is getting worse! Horrible animation! Super boring! Even in the size of the rooster it is getting worse and smaller. Roosters that seem to have a maximum of 8 inches he says he has 12 inches.
The problem right now is that Sum is too comfortable and he decided to change to blender, after starting a major project (mk9-p2). A patreon said in his discord that Sum stopped with mk9-2 to learn Blender and while none of the ported posts on yiff confirm that, there hasn't been a single preview or substantial mention of said project.
While there has been setbacks (health problems, loved one got really sick, a couple quarantine issues, etc) that one can believe and understand, I don't think for a second that Sum really treats this as his job (something that Sum himself has said on more than one ocassion) or he's just too lax about it.
NW2 was overall great IMO, but it took one whole year, had the animations done before coming up with a story, didn't start getting voice acting before hand and while I know how much of a pain it can be animating even in SFM, I think a couple years of experience and it being your job and all could get things done fairly quickly. The released project was 40+ minutes of still images with text boxes that came up with vague excuses as to why was a kid fucking several women (only one making some sense being Kirsty's part) and 23min of actual animation that thankfully wasn't too dark and most of the time had good angles.
Now, it was months before Sum even said something about story drafts for mk9-2, without any previews and I bet he has more interest in getting to learn Blender and start over than continuing the project in SFM. If those that have been giving him money for the last 7 months only to get 3 good shorts are okay with his pace, then I don't see any changes happening soon or ever.
