Overview:
Sunfish City is a Trait swap game that I'm currently making for fun. It's still very early in development, but I intend to add more mechanics as time goes on. This project was inspired by Trading up and Clean Slate as I find those games quite enjoyable and how they handle tf content. I think you can see what I what parts of the game were inspired by which game.​

What does the "transformation" tag mean then? There's no sissy content, but there is MTF? Or is there none either? So, if you play as a woman, you can enlarge your breasts, but if you play as a man, you can only enlarge your penis? That's it?

Gender is a trait, just as any other, and can be traded with NPCs. Chest size, butt size, gender, skin tone, hair color, age (adult or mature adult only), hair length, and genitals may be traded, and produce a short popup on trading that describes the change. Pretty minimal, but hardly surprising.

You'll need to trade for one. Talk to someone with a job and trade your current job and enough positive traits to buy their job. Brothel Worker is pretty good and working there can give you free traits you can trade away.

What is the best way to progress in this game? How do you get work at the brothel or strip club?

To get work there, you're going to have to trade someone who has the job for it. Improving your charisma at the Bluefin Development Center (Business District) will help with convincing people to take trades, as well as give you fodder traits to trade with. You can also get a job at the Manta Ray Cafe (Business District) to give you something better to trade than 'unemployed'. Otherwise, it's a matter of finding out what people want, finding someone who has that, and acting as an iterative middleperson.

Everything is about trading up in this game. You want to acquire traits that you can sell for nice things.

Talk to people, see what they have, and then buy what you can afford.

If you can find someone with the Bimbo trait, it's only 15 points to buy from them, and gives a massive +50 charisma bonus, which makes trading for other things much easier.
