Somebody needs to take all this guy's art and feed it into an AI reprocessor.
'Retro' does not mean draw pencil sketches on paper then blow up all the pixels, it was its own distinct thing that nobody actually does anymore. Everybody has their own crazy modern spin on pixel games and it only seems to get worse the further we get from the era of actual pixel games.

True, it is hard to try to jerk off to something that looks like a mix between minecraft and paint... well it could've been worse. At least is no AI

The uncensored version is on itch.io for $8. Much better than the censored version but still godawful graphics in a good way.

For anyone looking it appears the save location is both in the game/saves folder and C: -> Users -> ******** -> AppData -> Roaming -> Renpy -> GrappleDay-1635094323 (this number may vary). Having deleted my saves at both locations I have successfully proved that deleting all saves clears your purchased items.

lol, I literally made the art for this game and wouldn't necessarily disagree with any of these comments. we did the best we could and tried to be honest about how it looks in the screenshots. it ain't pretty and definitely isn't authentically retro, but hey, it's got at least twice as many pixels as Custer's Revenge, and it's a finished, (mostly) working game.
to be clear, the itch and steam versions are identical, although I appreciate your effort, circuitarity, in (accidentally?) trying to trick people into paying me $8.
