RANT START:
:FacePalm:Doesn't excuse the fact its one of the most dumbest laws imaginable and it boggles my mind that Japanese artists to this date aren't taken them into task for it. They are literally fining and arrest people for drawing uncensored genitals and sex scenes. Their reason to justify those actions, is it "drawn in detail and realistically." Japanese people may be smarter then us at mostly everything, but when it come to this law their retarded. How the hell they can't distinguish reality and fiction! Porn drawings. can't. effect. reality! It's like the US government arresting the MK and GTA studios for their glorification of violence being depicted in their games. Then to use mass shooting as a justification for those arrests. Its stupid and their reason behind it is also stupid.

I can understand this law existing when their was no rating system in place. But since their already a rating system for that type of content over their. That law shouldn't even existed in the first place. It like their government has nothing going for them over their. So they have to make problems in order for their business to existed. Just because it a "Law" doesn't make us free expression people not called it like it is. Overreach governments making dumb fucking laws.
RANT OVER

Back to the point. If super naughty maid was ported in and fan translated. Then I can understand why the mosaic being present. However, if it was globally sell around many services outside of the district from Japan laws. Why the hell they thought it was a good idea to sell censored content that make their product inferior compare to others in the market? this mosaic censorship nonsense is the only reason the hentai industry isn't dominating the entire porn industry globally. Hentai to me is just better written porn, it just their censorship is what holding them back to dominated this industry.
first of all, they are forced to. Because of the existing bill, their freedom to depict genitals isn't fully given, meaning that they'll still have to censors it in one way or another. I get it, you hate such laws and I do too, but it is best to not bother with it and go along. You can put your hope as well for other official licensor to uncensor it, even if it might take a long time for sure. Anything doesn't come in a finger snap, there is always a process, and it takes time.

That not my point. I'm not sure how their government is structure but knowing the context around this law, and the fact that all these artists just go alone with it, instead of trying to fight it. Just boggle my mind. Its been like decades and their never attempt to even try to fight this bill. Their smart enough to know that its not okey for the government to fine them for thousands of dollars for drawing uncensored genitals. I shouldn't even need to said this because that a overreach by itself. Here in the US, 2A activists are still fighting unconstitutional laws that the government try their best to place. What there excuse of not working together to fighting that bill?

I think we all can agree that Japanese culture is a bit too feudal and completely relies on hierarchy, as in anything that is against your elder's decisions will be frowned upon. I wasn't a fan of that either but alas, I have to go along with it until things are starting to change. You couldn't force the same thought towards any Japanese young men about it, and there's nothing we can do about it. For now I'm kind of looking for sources and docs about pornography censorship in Japan, and how it affects on any Japanese media

EDIT: speaking of standing up and fighting the bill, I would say the chance aren't that big either since their government themselves are like ruled by old people or in a rude way, a bunch of boomers

EDIT 2: Okay, I think my response isn't having a connection whatsoever to your reply but what I mean is as long as the young Japanese men are kept listening to their elders (whether they're willingly or being forced), that won't be happening
