VN - Ren'Py - Superhuman [v0.986] [WeirdWorld]

I don't like VN """games""" but I gave this a shot since it's not a 3d model monstrosity and it's up there at the top right now. In this """game""" you play as the main character from the 2007 video game The Darkness except you can also shapeshift to have futa sex or whatever.

As expected, I didn't finish it because I got bored of the lack of gameplay but it did string me along for quite a while because it actually is pretty well written and interesting (with some complaint). The main complaint I have about it is that the intrigue is drawn out for far too long and new questions are added without resolving old ones causing it to derail my interest.
Also, I don't think it really holds up well in the porn department. I was 100% only on this ride for the story because the porn was not eliciting a response.
Despite that, hats off to the writer, I can see why it's up at the top. Still.....RENPY? VN? EWWWWWWWW

I got hooked on it for three days, I liked the variety of characters and the art is not that bad, especially the newer art which was completely amazing.
I love the concept and feel like there's not enough superhero games.

2D games is cursed with slow updates when fans ask why updates takes 6 or more months author says hard to draw fast so thats always ruins 2D games and people get mad for that.

But for this game wow really wow update every 2 month or less how author can achive that no idea but nice and i was pretty meh when i started play game but then story really good fast and thank god waifus in this game not something like you are handsome so fuck me style they are normal being with deep story even male characters have story i know hard to believe but yup story is good.

Yeah mc is chad with big dick but thats not bad thing in this game because he can turn own dick to pizza tower if he wants that thats why NTR is prettyy meh here not in bad but good way mc strong thats why NTR not gonna work on him so thats good if you dont like NTR and you can avoid it too.

Story without grind(this game for now have no grind) like 10+(cant remember) hours i think maybe less maybe more and thats amazing for low budget indie game and sadly this game little too underrated thats really sad this game %100 worth to play and support.

Story is good and characters good too not all of them but %90 of characters amazing story not boring or repeative and sex scenes good too.

Sure few things can be bad even in good game like this :
-Mc gains powers then later that power is worthless(Mc powers for now hardly revealed because of that he cant get %100 op).
-Mc strong but he need always strugle when new character appears(its classic thing so dont take this as insult).
-Mc strong but somewhat other guys get op fast than mc and for me thats makes little sense(Yeah its can be annoying but still Mc is all rounder so thats makes sense in some way he have many talents powers so he cant grind only one of them).

For me this things can make game little less fun but thats normal because if mc gets op early game gonna be get really boring so this is just really small problem.

This game is dark really dark lot of rape like things here murder here too guro and other bad things so i understand you know not many can like this but believe me this game is really good and worth to play and support so i wanna say thanks to author for making this amazing game and cant wait to see more.

I really like the game and overall style but the weird skin tons and color gradients between some characters heads and bodies is a little off putting to me, but with the teaser for the work in progress character styles of ella i cant imagine ill have this complaint at the finished game

For a game named superhuman, I expected to be empowered. That was my first mistake. Other than the original fight, The player loses all conflicts ( I don't consider saving 27ppl out of 100+ as "winning". Perhaps I am in the minority, but considering a power stat exists, I also assumed fights were winnable through raising that. Truthfully only the encounter with mafia men 1-4 reminded me of the character war superhuman ( though losing to an MMA fighter than nearly having a player's arm dislocated from another character lacking powers did ruin the illusion already ). At least having lost to those who had their powers longer gave the excuse of experience, which was again shattered when a character gains powers and is shown beating our ass with said new powers while not having any experience with powers.
This ramble has lasted long enough though. If you enjoy watching other Superhumans this game is for you. Though then I suggest the name changed from "SuperHuman" to "The SuperHumans". Bit more honest.

superhuman is one of a kind, it is unique and interesting. I love the custom art it makes the game feel more special, sex scenes are great and have a good amount of kinks. The best part of this game for me is the story and fights scenes. Better story then AAA games fight scenes are always epic and the mc can make lots of choices in the story giving it replay value.

there is a lot in this game and that is incredible.

Honestly can't believe how sucked into this one I got.
Art is mostly trash with some saving graces here and there.
Story though.... shouldn't be this good for a porn game.
Started out downloading for a quick fap but dude... I haven't a single time since starting this.

The art lured me in and the story keep me engaged.The fighting scenes and MC power development are done nicely and very entertaining to read.MC shapeshifting ability is used well to create sex scences

The artstyle of the game is very distinct making it easily identifiable compared to other games and while it might detract some people but if you can get around that it's a solid 10/10 game.

STORY:
The story is great, The world building and lore is easy to understand and as doesn't get so convoluted it becomes boring. Powers and settings are explained really well and the power scaling isn't bullshit for the sake of making things look cooler.

MC:
This is very important to me because some games they have a protagonist that are just there and they add no significance to the plot whatsoever but here playing as the MC you feel that you are part of the world and your decisions and choices matter and sometimes some choices or actions can lead to early gameovers like not choosing to train your abilities or not choosing the proper approach in a fight.

CHARACTERS:
There are a lot and while not all have been fully fleshed out a majority of them are really well written and their side quest are worth doing just for the writing alone.

Easy 5 Stars game with great writing, great characters and great MC plus some of the dialogue is just hilarious especially the scene where ( not a major spoiler) You can fuck with a cop pretending to be a hooker by changing yourself from being white to black and white again.

Wonderful writing coupled with an expansive universe and interesting lore. Came for the porn and stayed for the story. The dev is consistent and has a vision that they develop well. The art can be funky for those used to Daz3d but I have enjoyed it. And hey we all have imaginations and the dev feeds a wide variety of fetishes and ideas. This is a great game and a gem on the site. Became a patron myself and would recommend anyone get in on this game. You'll be converted too

Honestly, I was wondering why this was rated so high with the artwork not being that of I'd normally consider 'good enough' - this isn't a diss at devs that aren't capable of using DAZ nor are able to create nor hire artists that are able to produce really high quality art but having read a lot of R18 VNs on this site, I've become accustomed to a certain standard from highly rated projects.

Regardless, this isn't really relevant to Superhuman - in fact, I'd argue now that the art style is striking enough for it to stand out yet do not detract at all from the story and even enhance the mood for its reader.

Going back to the topic of the story however, not only is the game superbly written and presented - it manages to make me as a reader think 'this does not need R18 content at all'.

So, in short, I checked out this game because I was curious about how high quality of a smut this would be to deserve its rating - but came out of it thinking that the game's story can stand on its own without the smut. Granted, I do think that in the end the smut enhances the game as well - because, whilst life is good, it CAN be better.

Definite recommendation from me if you are even mildly curious about this game. The NTR tag is 100% avoidable for those faint of heart.

What a wild ride this turned out to be. I was almost dissuaded by the artwork but I'm glad I gave it a chance because it is one of my favorite games of 2022. The story and writing just sucked me in so completely. Excellent cast of characters with excellent development. Do you like flavors? We got some mutherfuckin flavors. And speaking of the artwork, what I thought was a hinderance turned out to be a wonderful strength. Do yourself a favor and try it out. I hope the developer can do this full time because I'm in. My next paycheck he's getting a new patreon.

I don't really like the five star system, but I'll leave 5 as it's been a while since I enjoyed playing a game from this site as much as I did playing this game.

Cons:
I'll start here as there isn't much to say. I'm not a huge fan of the art style (although it has improved a lot in the later updates).
The music can sometimes get repetitive (mostly the tracks with vocals), but sound design is good overall.

Pros:
+++ Story:
The concept isn't anything revolutionary. But is well executed, with interesting world building and characters. If you've read Worm by Wildbow (non-erotic book series) you'll probably enjoy this.
Exploring the mc's powers is one of the most enjoyable parts for me, it's also fun how they are used in sex scenes, it allows for some otherwise impossible fetishes to be explored. It really takes advantage of both the medium and setting.
++ Sex Scenes:
The art style / character design takes away from it for me somewhat. Still, I find them enjoyable despite my personal tastes. They make up for the art style with fun and creative scenarios as well as having characters your interested in doing the sex stuff with.
++ Characters:
There are a lot of characters, and most of them are enjoyable. And if you don't like them you can just skip their side quests.

I recommend it.

The story in this game is gripping, the power scaling seems to be very well-thought-out, and the premise is very good. WeirdWorld really develops the world and the premise extremely well. Always an air of mystery, some horror elements from the monsters, and the powers are all really cool and unique.

Characters: 10/10
The characters, oh the characters. Every single one is unique and well-written. They each have distinguishing personalities, and in my opinion, all the girls are hot. They also aren't all just black and white, because you don't know which side characters are on.

Art/Sex: 9/10
Art is lackluster at times, which is the only reason it doesn't get full scores. Sure the art isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I've grown to love it. It also has a large range of kinks. Most importantly, the sex scenes are all very hot.

First time ever that I'm reviewing on this site, and I feel like this game really deserves it. I've been playing it for several versions now, and at first was a bit reluctant because of the art style, but you get used to it quickly and it's really not that bad. It's unique, at least.

And in the newer versions, it really changed a lot, got a lot better! My favorite part isn't the art though, it's the story. I love it, and I love the shapeshifting abilites we have. More games should be about shapeshifting honestly considering all the possibilities it gives.

I also like the fact that you can take a lot of different decisions (especially the evil ones haha). I would also say it's a shame you can't fuck the evil girl with cross attacks. But besides that, it's one of the best games on this website.

This game is a pleasant surprise. I avoided for quite some time because I didn't fancy the art style in the preview pictures. I admit it still took some time to get accustomed to it but oh boy the story more than make up for it on my eyes.

Quite a elaborated story with interesting characters, plus the mix of horror, gore and sex was very well done. And the game is quite long, i have been playing for around four hours already.
Also i have to say i quite love some of the humor on it. That weird cop made me laugh a lot.

Probably one of the best VN i ever played, have lots of kinks, funny reference, a mind break story (more complicated, more i like) and even being complex af, the story makes sense most of the time, the sex scenes are very good, not perfect but very cool, this is the type of project that i would support totally!

This is one of those games that I've seen in the Latest section many times, ever since it was first uploaded actually, but never really gave it any mind because of the art style, regardless of the good ratings. While I did like the art style itself, I am REALLY not a big fan of absurdely large tits, and avoid any game where seemingly all models have it. But then, after a year of seeing it around, I decided fuck it, let's give it a try, and thank god I did. What I found is possibly my favorite game I've ever found on this site. I very rarely give reviews, but this one is special enough that one is needed. The story, the scenes, the art style, the various different fetishes, the weird but very creative sex scenes, the beautifully dark ambiance, it's all fucking amazing, enough that I'm easily capable of accepting the gigantic tits. Not to mention, I was blown away by how much content this game has for being here only a year and such a low size file, it was a very good surprise. To me, it's easily the best erotic ren'py game ever made. My only real gripe with it is the music, but that can easily be turned off and I play some Deathprod on spotify (I really recommend for that dark atmosphere).
