I'm pretty sure you've missed 3 corruption points from the Gorgon Hunt. It might've been a choice but there's definitely a bug in that mission as of 0.961.
A) If Danica is still alive, no points.
B) If you fucked the Gorgon, no points and no $1000 reward.
C) Killing the Gorgon with Deryl should give you 3 points. There's just one problem. You need to wear the corruption-suppressing helmet the night before the B rank hunt to get the corruption points.
The above is the "legit" way. There's always the console or a save edit if you've been cheated out of your rightful corruption, but if you'd prefer an unofficial fix...

That's definitely a bug but I'll do the work around at a later date. That's the only character I have, out of 5, where Dani isn't alive so it's fine for now. Max Corruption would be 49 in this case since I missed those 3 from there. While i have confidence in my skill and efficiency at putting down the opposition, our numbers are still very thin, trying to take them head on on their own homeland would be highly foolish, at the moment all we can do are hit and run tactics like Ronald did...

It's fairly obvious what's going on! The update was discussed to death so now we have to find alternate ways to pass the time. This thread got too active for it's own good. A good tactic to stay sane is to just laugh at memes and completely ignore everything else.

So let's get back to theorizing:
This update gave Emily a more involved part in the main story. Do you think that it's a fluke like all the others or she will eventually start taking a more active role during the twin chapter? Or perhaps she is going to get her own chapter afterwards?

She is more than likely going to get her own chapter I mean it was hinted at a few times at any rate (most notably mentioned by Ella that she couldn't find her a monster and that she lacked confidence) so that leads me to believe at some point Emily is gonna get powers or...attempt to at least (I hope ignoring her content can result in her monsterifying).
Who knows, after all there isn't any conclusion evidence on whether or not she'll be more important later on besides the search for Ella's past going on with her and Christie (also with the Main character too) but the only way i can see Emily getting her own arc is if she gets infected and turned into a superhuman. She was confirmed (by Ella) to be genetically compatible for it. Only reason she Ella didn't turn her was because she didn't think Emily was psychologically built for it but her mental state has been getting better as of lately, so she might get turned later on.
Who can say though.

Wouldn't her mental state depend if the player actually helped her though? Doesn't mean she still won't 'get' it although it may not end up how Ella would actually want it for her friend.

I hadn't try it, but in this update when we have the scene with Emily (when we are seaching for clues about Ella) will something change if we didn't help emily became more confident in the school events before we go to the mall?

So I replayed the game to see how the scenes change if you helped vs didn't.
When searching for clues nothing changes whatsoever to indicate anything.
Notably Michael does mention that Emily needs to find a style that fits her (for fighting) and he's been training a lot of our friends although it seems she still hasn't found it, although idk if confidence has anything to do with that.
But in any case there has been very little variation from what I have seen at least with Emily, I do know that there's a few tiny changes with Liz and Amber.

I've finally gonne nuclear, baldurs gate 3 didn't let me have a romance with the one and only Shadow because i "misclicked" and banged Lae'zel so i restarted as a powerhouse, now here i am getting feats for every level i get, walking around with 6 companions following me and turning negative approval to positive...
