There is only 1 possible androgynous "trap" encounter, but the game clearly asks you "Do you want this character to be female or male?"
1.) If you choose "this character is female" then there will not be any gay content.
2.) And even if you choose "this character is male" then you still have an option to be in a friendzone. You dont have to date/sex that character.

I should note that the game goes "do you think this character is male or female" not "do you want this character to be male or female". Could easily have been a static gender where the question is not altering reality. You need familiarity with the subtleties of porn game questions to realize it is being coy.
Also, you forgot about girly boy you can fuck in the prison.

On the second point, you do have to sex them once. But you have to go pretty far into the route for that. So like, if you choose for them to be male, then see all of their scenes, and then you read and get mad at the single sex scene, you kind of have yourself to blame.

It's not a "no" if there's a possibility. He didn't asked if it was mandatory, he asked if there was gay scenes in the game, very likely to know if the tag was relevent.. And that answer is "yes". Please don't be missleading.

The Prototype games are in the Power Fantasy genre. So there's not really to hesitate in that setup. Mercer is written and designed to be absurdly OP.
Oh, yeah, if you were asking because you WANTED the gay scenes, the non-prison guy has...three, arguably 4 scenes. 2 of them are optional, and the arguable one isn't you two having *sex* it's just a little erotic.

I am curious if there is a monster that can give you the ability to store and use solar energy. What kind of ability would the infected person get?
Would he be like a kryptonian, storing solar energy and using the energy to give himself superhuman physical abilities but no other abilities? Would he get these abilities and weaknesses?
Heatvision: the infected person could do that since it's just releasing stored solar energy. He could even do it with his hands.
Endless Stamina: I'm not sure if the solar energy would replace his dependency on his body's natural energy.
Possible Nuclear abilities: I'm not sure about this one, but he might be able to gain them when he reaches Evolution level 3. After all, the sun contains nuclear energy.
Fire manipulation: This one may be at evolution level 2.
Weakness: Because his body is unable to store all of this energy, he must release it. If he does not, his body will forcefully release the stored energy because it is dangerous to him, resulting in a solar flare and making him vulnerable.
Evolution: Each evolution pushes his solar storing capacity and makes his abilities use less solar power while also increasing his solar absorption rate.
Flight: That's easy. He could wrap himself around with solar energy and fly. [Maybe Alice, in the future, with her gravity power, will be able to fly]
Would he get all this or not? Maybe he would get even more abilities. Who knows? Anyway, I am more interested in what you guys think.

I am also going to have to give it to Mercer, while the MC has several impressive alternate powers/variants to Alex, Mercer has the raw power and neigh invulnerability. Although Mercer has zero big tiddy goth GF's, so who really wins here?
