What are you smokin over there lad? While Liz is and always will be; a fucking disappointment as far as LI's go (imo), Amber is not.

First off, take out NTR. If that is part of your basis it'll only make your opinion worse off, because NTR "plot" wise and how people react to situations is ALWAYS bad.

As far as Amber being superficial she's not. In fact if you did do the route and payed attention, she's the opposite. Going so far as to deny being with you in front of people and not wanting to marry until she's older as a way of being responsible. She's always liked the MC even before he got his powers, but there was a time period where he up and ignored them for a while out of being rejected by Liz. While that admiration might not have been romantic at the time, it did evolve into it through your actions for her at the college, which I have no doubt would've transferred the same regardless if you were a huge muscle bound stud shapeshifter, people need to stop thinking every female is what you see in porn. She's arguably one of the most honest and thoughtful people in the entire game.

Liz:
Yeah she sucks, I'll always die on that hill. Lazy, blissfully unaware, yet sometimes cares only when she wants to. It's one thing to have a type, it's another to ignore one of your closest friend's confessions and practically shit on it by trying to make it a one time fling, and then wonder why he ignored you for several months. But all of a sudden once he starts becoming more her type she's ready to essentially entertain the idea of being all over you, it's a disgusting personality to have. While meeting her the same way (i.e hiring for strength) would've been out of the picture, she wouldn't blatantly ignore the MC. In the bath scene at her house she literally mentions that her type are people that were just like how the MC was before his powers. She would probably engage with you in her school life, especially if you caught Michael's attention with your background Dad training.



Would the newfound muscles and height help with your endeavors at romance with the 3 of them? Sure, they did, but it was mainly your ACTIONS for Amber, while it was your looks for Liz. So while I disagree with your view on Amber, Liz is justifiable.

NTR was never a factor, you should read my post just above yours that clarifies Amber. I even say that she denies the player, that's literally a big part of why I think she kinda sucks. Her standards for what she allowed and would do with the player drastically changed when he became hot, before that, she would always find reasons to push him away.

Edit: just to clarify, I do agree that Amber has points that are salvageable, I haven't finished everything yet, but just before Mall, she kind of sucks. Liz totally sucks regardless of what route you do with her, she's just awful. With Amber, its like she just suddenly opened up to a lot of things for no other reason than to allow the player more sex, which I guess might be reason enough for a porn game.

Yeah I thought it was pretty clear she was starting to fall for him (due to his actions) throughout her questline and that was why she was acting up. She did care for the MC regardless if it wasn't romantic, so when he suddenly tries to make all of these sexual jokes or is helping her in astronomical ways; I think she was using her prude remarks as a defense mechanism as to not fuck up their relationship, or what it could potentially evolve into.

What's the attitude when it comes to romance? If you like someone it's much harder to look at them as just something to fuck in confidence than it is to actually considering making yourself vulnerable and commiting to the emotional connection? I'm sure there's a quote that supports that sentiment somewhere but you get what I mean. I think Amber developed a crush somewhere in the middle of that arc, as she actively blushes throughout it more and more, and as we know with crushes; you become VERY careful (and stupid) in anything you do with them as a way to not fuck it up indefinitely.

Edit: I just remembered a female friend that came onto me as a confession who was actively known to "get around". But unlike with those flings she wanted to take it slow with me, and had been too nervous to actually approach me beforehand. The thing about standards isn't about how good the MC is, its that Amber always acted like a prude and pretended to be disgusted by sex stuff and perverted acts in general when she later freely admits to have having a few hook-ups while in university even when dealing with all her drama and stuff (which is fair, if player is going to sleep around, no reason why she can't), but as soon as the player clears up her drama, she's suddenly more than happy to bang his brains out and is even encouraging him to get liz in on it if he can handle both of them.

Alice absolutely wouldn't spared a glance at him as he was, and that holds true to how he currently is. He didn't win her based on his looks though, he won her over through his actions. If he keeps the same attitude and mentality, even if he lost his powers, she'd stick with him. She's driven by his actions and results, not his body, which is the only factor that changed for Liz and Amber.
