depends on how fast you can read, I finished it quite faster than that. The low(er) number of renders help with not distracting me from reading. Still a lot of awesome content
I made my friend read, and we took almost a month (i went there 12 times to read with him) and we read for around 4 hours each session, so it took almost the 50 hours.

I was planning on recording the whole game and post on Youtube with the default speed of auto play, the Valvarn fight alone is almost a hour, i cut some parts of the video to focus only in the fight.

I finished it in 3 days, probably played 5-6 hours a day. As I said, I read fast (no skipping content)

As funny as this may look this is actually a good explanation, since it depends on information from a later point in game than you are i will put in spoilers, but in short most people here believe there is a supernatural component to Mc's weakness to electricity, outside of the regular scientific explanation.

I should also point out that many people here are not convinced of this idea and have different views, so it's definitly better if you come to your own conclusion after reaching the last update, we are always talking about theories here after all.
At first, I thought MC's electric weakness was mainly his regenerating, magically-malleable body reacting poorly to the muscle spasms of an electric shock. I wonder if that was the original idea in the first phases of the story, or if WW already planned out a more mythological explanation beforehand (i.e. Banu Sil'at fleeing from lightning, chaotic formless spawns being struck by lightning being a common mythological motif, etc.)

I honestly think that it's a bit of both

Man, I FREAKING LOVE the secret dead ends. The lore, the portrayal of power the eye shows and the very existence of Bernhardt and the others. Are there any other secret endings? Would you help me find them? Some are really hard to get or is there anywhere that they're listed?
There's a list on the of all the Dead Ends. Most aren't terribly lore relevant, at best they show you something you wouldn't discover until a bit later in the narrative (like, in the Dead End where you get corrupted by the Minyak, you see an early appearance of Malik showing up to burn you away), but there are a couple that have some interesting stuff to see. My personal list:

Well, in fairness, Kurama always got KOed every time he showed up, too. But I get what you mean. It would be nice to see the Eye cause some more damage before it gets put down. That way we'd get more of an impression that this thing is bad news and we should dread the thought of it manifesting fully.

If you really think about it, every time someone kills him they have to break reality itself or the space-time continuum

Yeah, but impressive shows of defense only go so far to establish a threat. I'd like to see some cool offense, too. Eating a bunch of monsters was a good start, but it needs follow up. Hopefully in his next appearance, whenever that happens.

They're not dead. We learned recently from the Immaterial World that our early assumption was wrong. They're just distant.
I'm not even sure they can die, in a way that humans would recognize. Syla wonders if the reason Apostles seven through twelve are so distant is because they don't exist anymore. But she says that after the MC has made contact with three of them. That says to me that Syla doesn't expect a god's "death" to actually end them. Given the eldritch horror themes around the Apostle, I think it's probable that the Apostles die the same way that Cthulhu dies. You know, "that is not dead which can eternal lie", where what looks like their death is just them retreating from the world to sleep and heal and eventually return. They get closer to or more distant from reality, but they never really go away.

Your thoughts are pretty similar as mine. I'm of the opinion that the Apostles are fundamental aspects of the universe. In the sense that when they lie dormant, they fall in sync with all of the universe. Which means you can't really kill them, as shown by the 7th having to do it over and over again.

Ella mentioned during her 5th Evolution that, presumably, the 3rd Apostle should go back to "sleep" like the others. Implying that they have periods of inactivity. Valravn, lamenting that the 7th hasn't been answering his call earlier could also be an example of this. Along with the need for Chosen to rule over monsters for them in their absence. Then I believe Tanos and Deryl talked about how traces of the Apostles can be found in everything in their universe. Meaning that they have some connection to the universe in a material way.

The reason 8th through 12th are distant could be because they're not sentient at the moment and rejoined back into the whole of creation for now. Possibly due to the 7th constantly killing their avatars over the years and it temporarily knocking their consciousness out for a while. Or it could be that their spheres are farther away or were moved away. Compared to the 1st - 6th. Authority, Power, Body, Memory, Time and Space spheres could be much more closer to the universe, especially since they were "born" first.

So it's a combination of possibly being farther away than the first six, either by design or because someone or something else caused it. Along with their brief bouts of slumber for unknown duration. Either way, I don't think they're dead or can truly die from anything below their cosmic position. Especially since the 7th can't even do it permanently. Which would leave only the Origins or Arbiters and the Outer Twins currently.
