They're not dead. We learned recently from the Immaterial World that our early assumption was wrong. They're just distant.
I'm not even sure they can die, in a way that humans would recognize. Syla wonders if the reason Apostles seven through twelve are so distant is because they don't exist anymore. But she says that after the MC has made contact with three of them. That says to me that Syla doesn't expect a god's "death" to actually end them. Given the eldritch horror themes around the Apostle, I think it's probable that the Apostles die the same way that Cthulhu dies. You know, "that is not dead which can eternal lie", where what looks like their death is just them retreating from the world to sleep and heal and eventually return. They get closer to or more distant from reality, but they never really go away.

Your thoughts are pretty similar as mine. I'm of the opinion that the Apostles are fundamental aspects of the universe. In the sense that when they lie dormant, they fall in sync with all of the universe. Which means you can't really kill them, as shown by the 7th having to do it over and over again.

Ella mentioned during her 5th Evolution that, presumably, the 3rd Apostle should go back to "sleep" like the others. Implying that they have periods of inactivity. Valravn, lamenting that the 7th hasn't been answering his call earlier could also be an example of this. Along with the need for Chosen to rule over monsters for them in their absence. Then I believe Tanos and Deryl talked about how traces of the Apostles can be found in everything in their universe. Meaning that they have some connection to the universe in a material way.

The reason 8th through 12th are distant could be because they're not sentient at the moment and rejoined back into the whole of creation for now. Possibly due to the 7th constantly killing their avatars over the years and it temporarily knocking their consciousness out for a while. Or it could be that their spheres are farther away or were moved away. Compared to the 1st - 6th. Authority, Power, Body, Memory, Time and Space spheres could be much more closer to the universe, especially since they were "born" first.

So it's a combination of possibly being farther away than the first six, either by design or because someone or something else caused it. Along with their brief bouts of slumber for unknown duration. Either way, I don't think they're dead or can truly die from anything below their cosmic position. Especially since the 7th can't even do it permanently. Which would leave only the Origins or Arbiters and the Outer Twins currently.

This Image Defines Well Every Time the Origin/Eye Appears During The Evolution
the Origin/Eye:It's Our Time
MC:You Know This Is Going To Kill Us
The Origin/Eye:Yes

Which is why it's hilarious. Based on the Originl/Eye statement from the dead end, he should already know it's going to fail each time. He does not care though and chooses to crash out every time the opportunity arrives.

I guess that's what happens when you're bored and know you can't really die.

Didn't he say something like evolution is about repeating failure or some like that until success?

Do we know what tier Danica's monster is?Like I know it's powerful but like what rank?
At this current moment, no. It's not below B Class though. Since MC was able to form a connection to the 11th via Danica. Gestas is probably 3rd Generation at the highest. Possibly 5th or 6th at the lowest. Danica was also able to reach her 3rd Evolution naturally. Which indicates the Gestas isn't that low. Yeah, it took her 2 years but she wasn't exactly using her power beyond killing humans. In fact, she only had 24 power at Level 2 after two years. If Danica used it to kill monsters more, she probably would've been Level 3 in that two year time period. Especially when she evolved to Level 2 in only a couple of days.

There's also the fact WW hasn't reused its design among the hordes of monsters, as far as I noticed. So we can assume it's somewhat unique and that there's not many of it out there, if any at all. It also specifically sought out Danica at night. Showing that it's pretty intelligent. It likely wasn't a random encounter. It knew she was highly compatible with itself and waited until she was alone.

Using the context of its power and Danica's. I would say the mix is mostly 11th, 7th, and a small amount of 8th. 11th because it mostly tied to destruction in general. 7th because Danica X Marks the Spot can't be detected and she can actually hide it's presence on the target. 8th because her powers are called cross light and her Kryqs look like hardlight. Also the Gestas in particular seemed to teleport or sink into the shadows to reappear in front of Danica when she tried to escape. So that's more that points to 7th, since Valravn and it's Lord can do that.

So yeah. Between B Class and A Class. The way Danica killed the B+ Gorgon in seconds. Even with the possible vast power gap of 100s of power (Gorgon can range from 310 to 620 power). I'm mostly leaning towards Gestas being A Class currently. I'm sure WW will get around to releasing a Monster Card for it or give details in game.

Also Danica was scared of her monster even when she was having her evolution right. So it points me towards thinking that it must atleast be an A class although ofcourse it could be just her psychological trauma that makes her scared but imo that's unlikely her monster simply must be A class .

That way we'd get more of an impression that this thing is bad news and we should dread the thought of it manifesting fully.
You're missing an important point.

We're not even sure if we should dread it.

In fact... I'm kind of rooting for eye. Just not at the cost of mc.

I'd like to see some cool offense, too.
You only need to see one really.

That's the trap isn't it...

It could be yeah, but there's also the chance she saw the 11th Apostle on her 3rd evolution. She would've saw the Gestas during her 2nd evolution, so she shouldn't have been that terrified from seeing it again. That's why I believe she might've saw the Apostle of her line. Similar to how Alice saw the 6th during her second evolution.

You might point to Evander being the 11th's Spawn but at the time, He wasn't a superhuman. Danica reached Level 3 at the Battle of Diamonds, while defending a town. There's a chance the 11th may have gave her some additional knowledge. Especially if the Gestas is really high in the generation ladder.

But for now, Gestas is at minimum B Rank to A Rank and 3rd Gen to 6th Gen. Not too low, but not too high in both rank and generation.
