It is heavily implied that Syla was a Seahuman before becoming a superhuman and then monsterifying. The Vestige directly says that MC is "carrying their legacy, kinsman" or something like that.I thought their schtick was balanced by Amber being able to create water and Liz being able to use the created water. Clearly they don't synergise as much as i thought. Both of em are walking powerhouses by themselves
Its been a while, was anything said to contradict Emily not being able to get super powers?
Yeah but whats the point of it, just some world building? or is it playing into the human vs superhuman dynamic going on? They had subjugated monsters so clearly humans can fend off monsters by themselves, atleast until whatever wiped them out.
From what I remember: Liz can connect bodies of water, but if she switches to Amber, the link disappears (alongside the body of water). What they gained by being merged into one was Amber regenerating Liz's body when it's damaged and their shared power supply.I thought their schtick was balanced by Amber being able to create water and Liz being able to use the created water. She could always gain powers, Ella just didn't know which power would suit her best, nor if her mental state at the time would support the process. Its been a while, was anything said to contradict Emily not being able to get super powers?
We don't know yet. They were introduced as "monster pieces" for MC after the Battle of Diamond by Shopkeeper, just now we're exploring them a bit more. Only future can tell.Yeah but whats the point of it, just some world building? or is it playing into the human vs superhuman dynamic going on? I don't think it's that. The seahumans were very likely superhumans. The memories in the fossil the MC eats talks about powers stolen from monsters, the enhancement cylinder in the armory recognizes Apostle traits, and the propaganda video speaks on evolution derived from monsters. The seahumans were probably doing what Bramon is experimenting with, inducing superhuman ascension with captured monsters. Either they started off with subjugating very weak monsters and worked their way up, or they had some natural superhumans, too.Yeah but whats the point of it, just some world building? or is it playing into the human vs superhuman dynamic going on? CONFIRMS DOGSHIT UPDATE IS MICHAEL KILLING THE CAST FOR HIS TIER 4 AWAKENING. CHAT CLIP THIS.
However we also learnt during the dreamworld that big titty clown henri actually has a broken power which caused the apostles to lock in so there can be a very big chance that once Henri accepts his power and fully utilizes it that he will be even stronger than any superhuman including Bernhaldt. This of course only leaves the chosen and the apostles, mostly apostles but its really cool to see where it goes with him.I don't think it's that. The seahumans were very likely superhumans. I'd say that the point of the seahumans is as a foil to H.E.R.O. and S.I.N., and more specifically Bramon and Tanos Xanthe. Both of them are certain that they can science their way out of the problem of monster invasions. That they can learn how to steal the powers of the monsters and then either wipe them out subjugate them as tools. But a civilization that had been stealing monster powers and subjugating them for generations still fell to the monsters once the Apostles really put their effort in. What are the odds that the brief period of research Bramon and Tanos have before things really kick off will give them a silver bullet?
Yeah thats the thing, it makes sense for him to not be as powerful in other aspects, but then whats the point, he was turned into a hybrid half and half for a reason if at the end of the day he is just less powerful than a pure spawn its just pointlessHe probs will wield everything at some point, same could be said for creation as a whole. The thing is if he is at say level 5, he will be able to wield it at say level 3 ish, only at the level of someone he can rofl stomp generally or easily enough at least. But in the hypothetical if he gets creative he can make disgusting combos to compensate for the lack of power, this is where skill, being smart and cooperation come into play. Otherwise he just gets outclassed by sheer power by whatever his equivalent on other elements like Fantasy or Destruction. So him at level 4 would be able to combo a bunch of level 2 into a coherent chimera strategy/ability of sorts.
Of course this is just speculation based on how copy abilities are usually treated in media, it is either not balanced cough Yuta in JJK or it is there but does not matter all that much for some reason or another such as the case of Kurapika, could had just as well won through conjuration alone theoretically and he still sucks at the other nen domains anyway so his Emperor time is not that overwhelming. Used the nen reference to highlight that sometimes it is better to just stick at what you are good at rather than spread yourself too thin. Either way he needs to basically ask mommy Aglaeicwif how to mind rape in the mind world or something similar, throw in a sex scene plox since he wont fuck his own mom.
He is a hybrid so maybe he can somehow compensate for Sylas power, but then again hybrid are supposed to be weaker than pure spawns so maybe the 4th apostle has a way to bypass this.Xanthe did say that in order to use other monsters' abilities instead of just their body parts he would need to transform his own energy or life force, which would weaken him. I think what he meant by that was that his ability to transform is a result of the energy currently flowing through his veins, but that energy is also responsible for his regeneration, it's not like he has two different sources of power for his Memory and Body abilities. However, to use other abilities he would either need to spend some of his energy to transform the energy to his chosen monster or superhuman, and if that transformation is permanent, he would lose some power permanently for his regeneration, shape-shifting and memory abilities. What this means is that his total amount of power would not decrease, but it would be divided and the monster energy he can use for his shapeshifting cannot be used for his other abilities. As a result, he would need more power in total to have the same amount of monster energy available for shapeshifting before his transformation. For example, let's say the Mc has 600 monster power, he transforms 100 of that power to Valravn's darkness. The Mc still has 600 power, but he can only use his 500 power for shape shifting before he runs out. As a result, the MC's shape shifting powers have weakened despite his total monster power pool not changing at all.
However, if the ability to transform his energy and use other abilities is temporary like the Silats, then he will be burning through far more power than before, because he will need to constantly spend energy on it like his other transformations, and his efficiency will take a nosedive. Unlike Michael, the Mc doesn't have any rapid direct methods of recovering his energy, his digestion might be fast, but it wasn't instant in the Cole fight, when Deryl fed him.
Eh I don't know about that. Ella is the only one i'd say that is 100% attracted to you in your human form. Alice looks like she just wanted to fulfill a fantasy (I doubt she's gonna ask you to go back to the human form much if at all), Liz only rejected you cause she was depressed but I doubt she was interested in your looks much either considering she likes it big. The rest of the cast, we just don't know. I'd like to think all of em would still date you if you somehow managed to do the things you did as a superhuman. The sex would probably just be less exiciting. If MC is monogomus then its either Ella or Alice. both of them are the only one who I believe are attrected to MC in his original form before he became superhuman.
Ella is getting indeed getting better with each update, but question is, is the doll personlity is just one side of Ella (Simmilar to younh Yhwath inside Ichingo, or she is full reperesntation of Ella).
Next update (From Devs post I believe will come out around April-June), will answer most questions.
right is more accurate but its also more nightmare fuel.View attachment 4403215 Good model for Alice?? or this View attachment 4403227
Ill mix and match those models, left is a more realistic version of her, body excluded. I have an idea how to make her body morph now that I know her sizes.right is more accurate but its also more nightmare fuel.
Also, this current arc reminds me of soul society arc in bleach, where Ichigo and his gang go to rescue Rukia from the shinigami.Eh I don't know about that. W Bleach reference, but the flashback is giving me a looot of hope that Ella is helping the MC. If we trust her, the Ella doll is a complete copy of her when she was a level 4. Im just waiting for the Lizesque flashback to their childhood with Ella to shoot her up to the top of the best LI for now.
wow 4-6 months? Looks like next update is gonna be big.
put down the pen please.View attachment 4403215 Good model for Alice?? or this View attachment 4403227
Eh theres a difference between attracted to you and dont care about your looks to me. I dont think anyone would be shallow enough to reject the mc if he somehow did what he did but in his human form, I argue no one of the main cast cares about looks. Liz only rejects you initially for both of your mental state at that time, not your looks. Amber seems to just want the lovey dovey romanticism stuff. Imma be honest I don't remember much of Emily's story beyond helping her dad and building up her confidence, but if a Emily stan wants to give her take be my guest. Some of the more sideish side characters like Tessa? Yeah probably into you for your looks.Ill mix and match those models, left is a more realistic version of her, body excluded. I have a model for Ella, MC is lucky to have such cool women as GFs.
Also, this current arc reminds me of soul society arc in bleach, where Ichigo and his gang go to rescue Rukia from the shinigami.
As I've said about romance, Alice said that she isn't intrested in looks, since MC had a conversation with her about his looks, and she told him that even without his looks she would date him.
Both Ella and MC are shapeshifters and look much differently in reality, both are also childhood friends (Maybe lovers??).
I still wonder what is Ella's endgame, since I believe that the Doll has diffrent personllity then Ella and her knowledge is more limited.
Dev did a good job with the characters so far.
We mostly assume that the plan will work thanks to Deus. He is far shadier than Ella and it seems that Ella's plan is only the beginning of his plan, that guy is a complete enigma with all the timeline mystery while apparently not being a spawn of the Fifth.I think we're also just assuming that Ella's plan will actually work if successfully implemented. I have to imagine the seahumans knew much more about everything than we or Ella do, and we can see that this isn't a problem we can science away. It's also unreasonable to assume that Ella knows better than the Apostles.
My best guess is that Ella's plan is doomed to fail, even if performed correctly. Mommy the Fourth has clearly taken the reigns here and will co-opt Ella's plans for her own. Her insistence on a 50/50 spawn leads me to suspect she wants to bring back an Arbiter, which we will be. Perhaps this is the reason that the Dark has been hunting down Apostle avatars, specifically to prevent this from happening. It explains why the Dark immediately killed us in Dead End 6(?), but also explains why he tried to recruit us more recently. With us under his thumb, we are much less likely to express the Arbiter trait.
