One of the main problems this game seems to have when it comes to retaining players is the, ahem,
unique artstyle in the earlier parts of the game. I genuinely like it, but the newer artstyle is just better, at least for the general consumer. And, no, I do not care about any possible AI usage; if it makes WW's job easier, go for it! So it makes perfect marketing sense to replace the banner.
However, due to personal tastes and biases, I consider the original banner to be far superior. It has heavy overtones of sexy gothic eldritch horror. Hell, yeah! New banner? My first impression would've been, "Genderbent Twilight? Pass." The game's name doesn't help either. Seriously, I realize the name can no longer be changed, but the name seems probationary. For example, Parasite Black vs. Superhuman? The latter is definitely the better game (they're both great though), but the former definitely has the better name+banner combination.
And, of course, as others have pointed out, the new banner seems (incorrectly) to be false advertising, not just because of the evolving artstyle, but also because it implies a completely different direction/personality for Emily and the twins.
As for it not being fitting. In my opinion, while this is still a porn game, there's a lot of great story being told. The OG picture, paired with the description, draws you into the world of superhuman. Makes you want to know what the hell Mommy 4th is and really sets the tone when you first start and see monsters. The new one doesn't really do that, especially for the earlier sections of the game. It just feels way too colorful and that women might be the main focus.
I agree with this wholeheartedly, but my initial point regarding advertising still stands: people in the porn game communities are going to be more attracted to offers of tiddies galore rather than plot with tiddies. I wish it was otherwise (we'd see lots more good games rather than femcorruption#gajillion or landladyfucker#googol), but it simply isn't. That's what ruined Kingdom of Deception, imo.

really want to see Tess, preferably in an erotic scene, in the new artstyle. Hasn't Tess stated a preference for extremes rather than the average? Would love a scene with original form MC and Tess, especially since she's supposed to be a tall girl... I'll stop oversharing my kinks now.

Daryl. We haven't seen him much, but I've always loved the grounded guys. His immediate concern for the MC regarding possible steroid abuse was endearing.
Honestly, this is why I said the MC is extremely compatible with Team Lucifer and most likely will be under them. He fits in with them so well. If we don't get our own team, I can see him with them. Nyx would be the other option too since the MC gets along with her as well.
Just you wait. As H.E.R.O.'s public persona, MC will be grouped with the flashy Lucius, and we'll get a miniarc with Alice running around to protect MC's anal chastity.
