Wondering if I should update my old "All Powers in the game" post with all the new info we got. The fights were awesome, was great to see more level 5s just straight flexing on people. Malik low diffed the entire damn dimension lol. I'm also gonna try and collate the elder monster lore we got. Seems like the Apostles aren't Origins like we understood them; it's more like a true pyramid, where the apostles are 3rd from the top, just below the 'Arbiters' who are unions of Apostle powersets, and above the 'Arbiters' is the single 'Origin'.
Of course, that doesn't really answer where the other 'Gods' fit in or where the 'Lord of Darkness' (who might also be the 7th apostle) fits in the general scheme

I think the fact they even thought to seal Malik through 95% of the fight shows there's a high ranking traitor in the group because no one without experience with him would know how much of a threat he is in that battle and a strategy to hold him off like Malik pointed out, that it's a monster combo that is a pain for him to deal with.

I'm close, lol. If you took Alice out the game, then I'd be much more story only oriented. I did a pure faith to her path just because I felt it was wrong to cheat on her. xD I have one for The Twins also, and then one where I'm just a harem owner.
Honestly, that's too much work for no reason for now. There are no disadvantages for fucking everyone and no advantages for committing.
I think the game itself barely notices you are trying to be faithful.

I didn't even see Deus anywhere during the fight, i assume you can find stuff about him if you are corrupt enough ? what is the deal with him ?
Ella for me is a rare case of "no body no death" meaning absolutely nothing, she is not dead i bet, to me she will only die at the end of the story if Mc is the one pulling the trigger.
Particularly i think Ella somehow made a copy of herself and let the body for Nyx, she is clueless about Ella still being around.
However i won't put anyone on HERO above betrayal, i like people there but i don't trust anyone even for a second, i just don't think corruption has a lot to do with that, my guess is that A LOT of the captains are VERY corrupt anyways.
I think only power can secure any kind of loyalty in HERO, SIN or even outside them, we know people who can fuck with you mind even on lvl 2, Mc resisted Jake only because he was strong enough, someone with the right powers and enough strengh can make anyone a lapdog so honestly even Ella might me someone elses bitch even if she doesn't know.

It's in one of the bad ends during the evolution... (corruption might be needed, dunno that though)
He's part of the dead end you get if you're corrupt enough and accept the offer from the eye during your evolution.

I got the bad end when my good guy ass accepted eye boy offer, but no Deus though the dialogue makes me think about Ella.

There's more after that if you have over 25 corruption, it keeps going directly after the dead end 36 screen and goes on for a while still, then you reach dead end 37.

The amount of breadcrumbs is astounding, this version contains not only a large battle but insane lore dumps.
1)Only the final evolution done naturally matters which is good considering we artificially boosted to 3rd. I'm guesing it has something to do with being properly integrated to our parents via the link to them, hence the need for corruption and communication.
2)Cosmic Hierarchy, we now are aware of the beliefs and factions of the eldritch beings.
3)Expansion of the captains teams.
4)Monsters category info. I do wonder when the knowledge gained will be useful.
5)Alice could be simillar to MC in being compatibility to their parents.

I'm taking a small break before I dive deep into the old lore drops and compare what we got. I hope other like Drako and BloodAxis manage to sort their own thoughts out so we could go wild with speculations cuz the wait will be hard.
The stakes we had during the Mafia wars were personal and intimate. I remember being excited and anxious with each choice during the battle. I think this had to do with the fact we had small skirmishes and barely made it out, but now the fights don't last long unless it's PLOT ARMOUR

Vogelbeest gets it. If you played around the early story the dead ends were WW imparting knowledge at first before turning into bread crumbs.
Why would you even tell HERO you can do that? As far they know you're a shapeshifter and give you missions based on that. You might still need to "fly" around at HERO base at one point, so don't show them your cards!

- the Shopkeeper offering those strange jewelry in exchange for the twins" water"???
- And at the end the father's call to the MC warning that the danger really is related to Langdon Wilson
My guess? Langdon is kidnapping twins and forcing them to become superhumans for some reason. Probably Amber and Liz will be kidnapped and gain powers related to water ???
