Reading your thoughts though, I'm being too hard. Yes, she was coming down on him for being perverted and horny, but also its a fact that also just might've been a cover because he was too hung up on Liz. Amber was sleeping around with other guys (again, she admits to this before finally getting with you), but its not like you were really pursuing her, or maybe worse in her mind, she's worried you that you would be dating her just because she looks like Liz.

Really thinking about it, having you come to her rescue might've actually set her at ease on whether you like her or if you were just into her because she has the same face as Liz (although that was never really established as an issue, and that's me just stretching at the moment).

The thing about standards isn't about how good the MC is, its that Amber always acted like a prude and pretended to be disgusted by sex stuff and perverted acts in general when she later freely admits to have having a few hook-ups while in university even when dealing with all her drama and stuff (which is fair, if player is going to sleep around, no reason why she can't), but as soon as the player clears up her drama, she's suddenly more than happy to bang his brains out and is even encouraging him to get liz in on it if he can handle both of them.
