Devlog 76(Progress update, streaming and more)
Yo, how's it going? This'll probably be a long one, I've got a few things to go over today.
First, progress update on the game. I've basically got the update planned out now and like I thought, it's gonna be a longer one. I've got a good amount of CG done already but there's a fuckload that need to be done so it's gonna take time. Not gonna speculate on a release date for now, because who knows. I usually don't have a good idea til the last couple of weeks of development, and even then things can change fast. But yeah, progress at this point, is good, I think this next update is gonna be a good one, lot's of moving parts though.
Next, streaming. After some consideration and reading through the feedback from the last stream, I've decided to do it once a week on Saturdays 23:00 EST. My plan is to basically make each of them a community event where we'll do a different thing each stream. For example, this week's stream will be a drawing stream, where I draw a monster or something, then the next week will be a character tier list stream, the next will be a quiz you guys can take part in, then a reaction stream, then a game stream, then something else, then something else, etc. Dunno how long I can keep that up, I could always just cycle through them eventually, but yeah, that's the plan to keep things interesting. Check it out if you want.
Next, a new reward is coming to the monster tier. Journal entries. Basically it'll just be a journal entry from the perspective of one of the characters in Superhuman. Could have lore info, could be insight into the daily life of a character, could have smut, etc. I'll probably release that next week, so those of you in the monster tier and higher, look forward to that.

Ah Jake, what a shame, he could have been a very powerful ally if he had been left alive, he could already influence a lv5 to some extent while he was lv2, imagine how op that would have each time he evolved, but i killed him cause he a prick, I'll kill ella too when mc is strong enough and choice is given, I'll kill all H.ER.O members if i ever get the choice, damn i have a long list of people I'll kill if the game gives the option to
And also how do i eat Danica(who tf is even that) it never gave me the option(corruption is not the problem, i probably have max corruption for current version as i always killed and devour everything that didn't lead to a dead end)
Also doesn't the MC seem a little weak cause why must he always have to put his life on the line against literally everything he fights and even newly awakened superhumans will probably kick his ass if his power reserve wasn't higher than them due to level gap, jeez, i could go into a whole lot of details to back up my claim but it's long af and I'm too lazy to type.
Personally it's still good and bonus for having a villain like mc who kills a lot(my favorite type of mcs)

All of them are optional and pretty easily avoided, not much content for gay anyway.

Yeah it's mostly trap and even that is a minor part of the game
The only Necro i remember is in bad ends, all futa is optional, and most only shows up if you choose for your MCs female form to be a futa. The only gay is with Demi who you can choose to either be a girl or a boy(trap) when you first meet them.
Unless you consider female MC with guys to be gay, but that's also all optional.
Danica is the girl with the cross powers. You can only devour her if you chose "Kill her" instead of "spare her" (you still wouldn't be able to kill her on the spot because she gets saved, but choosing to spare her gives you 1 point with her, which locks out the option to devour her).
I don't think he's a little weak, quite the contrary, my vision about him is that HE is the newbie that manages to kick ass, dude won (at evo 1) against Danica, she who had her powers much longer than him (one year or more, IIRC) when he had his for two months more or less, now change the papers and think about it: Do you think that when the MC completes 1 year with his powers he will lose against someone who had it for two months? Hell nah!
I know some will think about his fight against Deryl but honestly, I'm surprised he even managed a draw there! He fought against Jake (who has/had a busted AF power and a BIGGER potential than MC's, according to Ella, AND was at evo 2 too), a hundred men with powerful guns, and then both clone Deryl with his creations and Jake. After all that, he got straight to the real Deryl (without resting after his fight against Jake/Deryl), who had made dozens of traps just for him, and the game explicitly show us how busted traps can be (cof cof Michael as a human killing a monster), and even manages some kind of draw against him.
To finish my line of thought, MC also wins against Valravn (if you make the correct choices), a monster that Nico was sure would absolutely clean the floor with us but we win against him, at EVO 2. Nico says that a level 2 representing H.E.R.O is humiliating and we should get to at least level 3... What I got from this dialogue is that, for her, a level 2 is a freaking weakling and she thought we wouldn't even manage to weaken Valravn (the original plan), much less win against him. And MC did just that... at level 2.
That being said, I didn't finish the game yet, in fact my save is just after Valravn's fight so if I lack more context you guys can laugh at me (or correct my idk).

i need some renpy help, my settings and progress like gallery etc are resetting every time i boot up a renpy game. the save file is fine but settings or things i unlock for gallery and picture etc get reset like i never unlocked them at all. anyway to fix this cuz it is quite annoying.
