VN - Ren'Py - Superhuman [v0.999] [WeirdWorld]

For months and months I'd disregarded the game due to the initial art. I was in the mood for some ero horror content and gave this a try. I binged it over the course of a few days. Time FLEW! I was quickly immersed in this awesome world and thanks to that and the sincerity the reader feels from the dev I even grew to enjoy the art. This enjoyement was even rewarded as the art improved over time. I'm a decided fan of this dev now. Give it a shot. Oh, also as of now I know there's decisions and stuff, and you do feel some weight between choices, but you don't need to worry about missing content.

hands down by faaaaaaaaaaaar the best story involving superpowers/heros.

The art and especially the oversized tits of most LI's kept me from playing it sooner.
But even if the art isnt appealing to you at first glance, give it a try and it will either dont matter soon or you will grew to like it like me.

The Story, worldbuilding and lore are amazing and highest quality in the avn world.

The LI's are very unique, have their own goals and lifes and most of them are awesome.

The world and characters are very grey toned, there is no simple good and evil or simple minded goals. Most of the characters have their flaws which is great and even most of the antagonist have at least some redeeming qualitys (ok fuck jared).

The mc is unique and weird, i think apathetic in a fun way is a somewhat good description. The progression, "leveling up" and developing abilitys feels great and is creative.

I'm really enjoying the ongoing story and the genre lets it go some really creative places. It does a good job of satisfying both the power fantasy of being a superhero along with the normal h-game sex fantasy stuff.

Art's not the best, particularly near the beginning. When it switches to the updated looks for the characters it's still not amazing, but it's competent enough. There's a few developer notes about updating things, so I think the very early stuff will get brought up to the nicer style eventually.

Overall I like the story and I like the sex scenes. It's not really a game you can jerk off to (sex scenes can be spaced out pretty far at times and it's not always easy to tell what will lead to one), so don't look to it for that, but it's still a better superhero story than the shit Marvel and DC put out lately.

I am confused as to why this game is perceived by me to be a better story-driven game than most non-nsfw AAA games on Steam.

Maybe it is just because I am more motivated to read the story with a lot of porn in it. However, I have fully read and played some games ( like Starfield, Spiderman, Control) and I don't enjoy them as much as I did with Superhuman.

Another speculation I have is that sexual tension is an inseparable part of the human psyche; where it enhances the experience of a story for most general readers or players. I believe Stephen King said that horror stories intrigue a primitive part of the brain that many other types of stories can't achieve. This could be true for porn stories.

Other mainstream games or media cannot put too much sexual content in it because it is illegal in many countries and are harmful for non-adult audiences. But I feel this game's success is a very interesting case study in how sexual things play in how our brain is developed.

God level game.
At first u may think this is just a 2D game but trust me, the animations , sounds and story combined are better than MANNYYY non-nsfw games!. AND YES IT IS TOUGH FOR NSFW GAMES WITH JUST A SINGLE CREATOR TO HAVE THIS LEVEL OF A STORY.

Excellent game - this plays more like a nsfw version of a progression fantasy novel than your usual porn game. That's not to say there is no porn - there is lots of it but it has a great overarching plot, an amazing power system, interesting characters and really well done worldbuilding.

The story is set in a dystopian world with an urban fantasy setting and revolves around the MC who gets superpowers and needs to fight mysterious monsters. The art is an acquired taste but I quite like it. The sex scenes are varied and have different fetishes. The progression for the most part feels satisfying and the plot holds your interest the entire time.

I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys fantasy. There are some aspects of the game I disliked and some choices that I thought were unintuitive. I also did not like the drama during some scenes but overall this is a 5/5 for me.

Awesome game. Art is nothing to brag about but surely unique and awesome. Can't say I can fap to the sex scenes, because they are short and yeah the art is just not my kink but where this game shines is the fucking awesome story. It's telling a very interesting, slow progressing and engulfing. The soundtracks picked for the game are also awesome and right on the spot! Best of wishes hope you will go on developing this awesome gem!

This game is truly something else. The pacing, plot development, tension building rival some of the best shows out there. Very few games do the Super Hero fantasy well, and Superhuman knocks it out of the park.

My only complaint is that the NSFW scenes aren't that sexy to me, so most of the time I ended up skipping past them.
I honestly believe if the creator removed the NSFW scenes, toned the boob sizes on most of the characters, they could rake in major cash on a more popular distributor, e.g. Steam.

Regardless, don't let my critique stop you, you owe it to yourself to check out this gem.

The storyline is amazing … the graphics is great… but bro need more animation. If there animation in this game, the game will be the greatest of all time.

A unique gem of a game in my experience, but as a game to get off too, not so much. I love the world building, and the story is pretty good, the characters have moments that generally make them feel more real than most porn game characters usually do. But I didn't play to the end of the current version (0.96) because of the porn. Because there is not much of it, and generally not long enough scenes for me to get into them. Can't wait for the continuation of the story though.

The art and the theme of the story feels like a 14 years old edgy kid's fantasy. But I must admit the game is excellent! The story is interesting, the dialogue is light and humorous, the art also works for the type of the story this is.

Keep your mind open and give this one a try. Highly recommended!

My favourite porn game of all time.

People will say the dev played prototype once and proceeded to pour all their angst and edginess into 1 porn game. And they are 100% correct, but, that's what I'm here for baby. Do you drink monster energy? Do you like the color black? If you answered yes to both of those questions this game is for you.

Say what you will about the 'edge factor' whenever the mc got his power-ups the 15 year old emo in me was going wild. I love games where you can be both powerful and evil as fuck and this game gives you both. Not only that, the game is chocked full of obscure fetishes for the sick ones among you and a story that keeps you playing flaccid.

My one gripe would have to be that the fight scenes dragged like crazy, I enjoyed them, but as this is a site for porn games I am sure many people do not share my enthusiasm for the mc's 10min+ fight scenes. Regardless I wait in anticipation for the next updates and hope this game isn't as close to finished as the version number would lead me to believe.

Alright, first things first let's talk about first impressions, personally, I scrolled passed this game many times (a rather large regret) I can understand the more unique art style might turn some people off, personally I really like it. For me I thought 'Why are all the tits so big?' and went about my business until one day I finally decided to see what this game is all about.

And fuck me, this game is absolutely incredible, the art works especially well with the story. The characters are interesting, varied and complex. The worldbuilding, lore, stakes and writing completely pull you into the game, several times I would blink and realise it was 3 something in the morning and I'd have to stop playing. You just get completely drawn into this vast and truly fascinating world and game.

The game is also MASSIVE, Anyone who hates how short some VNs are, you're in luck, WeirdWorld has genuinely made something you're going to get hours and hours out of, not to mention that you really get options of the direction to take your character in the story (morally upstanding hero or corrupt and evil villain? the age-old question) Giving the option for multiple playthroughs that still feel fresh.

An immersive tale, with choices that really force you to think hard or face the consequences of your actions. Brilliant world scenes, story and plot. And yes if you were wondering, pretty fucking great sex scenes too.

The game is so good that honestly im surprised it isnt available on steam. but i can gaurantee the dev that if they ever decide to put it up in steam then this will deifinitely one of the top games there.

I watched this game from afar for awhile, unsure about the horror elements and artstyle. Now that I've played it I can say the advertisement simply don't do it justice.

This game has a great story, a very original take on Urban Fantasy, Superheroes and Monsters, with a clear Prototype and Lovecraft influence (and probably others I don't know well, like The Darkness). Choices have an impact, not so much on the story (for now) than on your character's mental development and how the world perceive him. The crux of this is the one-way alignment system (I do mean alignement, not morality) based on wether you try to keep your humanity from slipping... or not.

Most characters are well-written and developped. And not just the men, but the women and the children, too. You'll have friends, rivals, lovers and enemies of all sizes and shapes that you'll quickly or slowly get to know, and they all have this touch of uniqueness that makes them closer to real people.

While the artstyle needed some getting used to, I found the designs pretty cool right away and, as many pointed out, the art naturally grew on me. Dev tried a new art for the drawn scenes at some point and I quite like it. I also want to give a small shoutout to the music and sound effects because they set a nice ambiance and reinforce the impacts of fight scenes. And speaking of scenes...

The porn! While it isn't my main focus for this game, I found the scenes pretty hot despite often being somewhat simple or weird (I like weird). Technical side of it, it's mostly still images, with some 2-3 frames animations here and there.

As I finish this review, I wonder if 5 stars would be considered too much. But I fell in love with this story. I'd watch a series adaptation about this world and characters without hestitation, and I'm anxious to know how it will unfold in the future. So if you're hesitating to play this game for the same reasons I did, I simply recommend you to give it a chance.

I came for the porn and got hooked to the story. As a porn game it's nothing special, pretty long visual novel with only occasional choices, most of them not very impactful. The art is okay but there's games with better art out there.

However the story is overwhelmingly entertaining and keeps me coming back for more on every update. And the porn in between the story is the cherry on top.

Really good game the story was so much more interesting than I thought it got me hooked, the story about the whole monster thing was a fresh breath of air from the whole goblins and magic fantasy world games I've been playing, the game also has a great amount of content that it got me playing for days, tho would've been better if there were more lewd scenes with the female mc

I will legitimately be sad when I reach the inevitable stopping point in the story, I just spent multiple hours a day this week enjoying the characters, story progression, and art(definitely grew on me). I cannot wait until this game is 1.0 and/or complete. At first I wasn't sure if I'd like this based on the screenshots but with the writing, story, and theme being so much more engrossing than I expected I love the characters and their personalities that I just kept playing to see more of their story. I look forward to seeing the rest of current content (I just got to when S.I.N. is introduced) and future content, I wish this author a bright future.

i would give it a 4.5 out of five if i could, this is one of the few visual novels i've played and liked, the characters, the monsters, the powers, the music, in some scenes later in the game i'm feeling straight up berserk vibes. The sex might be the starting point to the game, but the story drags you in with more questions, answers, and wondering what happens next. Only complaint and warning for others is save very frequently and train as much as you can, evil or good playthrough, a guide has been made to help with this.
