From a narrative perspective, the MC has to leave H.E.R.O., otherwise Bramon will administer the evolution serum at the soonest available opportunity, eliminating any chance of the MC achieving Level 5 naturally, and even cutting short the time we spend at Level 4. Another issue is that the MC is not nearly as entrenched in H.E.R.O. as the higher-ups would like. He consorts with Ella far too often, and is ultimately a loose end they will eventually feel the need to reign in, which the MC simply isn't going to stand for. We've had scenes of the captains discussing the MC and expressing their concerns with his allegiance. Regardless of whether it would be better or worse for him to leave, that's the way the narrative is pointing.

I can't imagine that the MC having gone rogue for the past six months will help, either. They don't know he's been stranded in the monster world. Meeting with Nyx or Henri in the dream world is optional, and even then the MC doesn't give them an update on what he's been doing. They don't know what he's been doing, only that he hasn't been helping in the fight. Maybe he's still been in S.I.N.'s captivity. Maybe they successfully turned him, and he's a double agent now. Maybe he's been working with his father, a known independent operative and former employee of Tanos Xanthe. Plus, it's entirely possible that, since that's probably Aos at the end of the latest update, when the MC returns to Earth it will be in the company of an S-rank monster. He's going to look really suspicious.

Just because we're probably gonna leave H.E.R.O. doesn't mean we'll be going to SIN. I think the path that makes the most sense is we go independent and maybe link up with Stephen. Ella created S.I.N. solely to be adverserial and hone the skills of superhumans to give humanity the best headstart possible for when shit really hits the fan. So it doesn't make too much sense to go to them. Personally, I think H.E.R.O. might not actually exist for that much longer. I think they're stretched thin as is, and will eventually collapse under the pressure. Which yes, would give your waifus a chance to break off and join us.

I don't think Bramon will simply administer the serum to the MC, there's a lot of HERO's lieutenants that are still level 4 including even Deus who falls in the same group as MC as far as loyalties are concerned. If anything there will probably be an internal fight at HERO, with Bramon wanting to research at all costs and Malik supposedly against it while at the same time Tiffany wanting to kill her dad and assume his position. I don't see MC surviving for long alone without either being level 5 or having HERO or Ella's help, Deryl still hasn't learned everything he could from Bramon either so that's another one that will get negatively impacted by leaving HERO so soon.

I think the biggest problem some people may have with hero is that they associate it with being stuck under ground. Even if you stay with Hero I don't think we will be doing that again.

Even if you remain within hero, I expect the chaotic situation will be such, where the MC will be a lot more free in what they do and best think of Hero as allies rather than what the MC belongs too.

Getting him to Level 5 so that he can be the posterboy for H.E.R.O. is something they want. Remember how they were ashamed when first meeting the MC that they've been forced to give up the fame to the MC despite him being Level 2 at the time.

EDIT: Technically, I imagine the MC will have three avenues to pursue if he chose to leave H.E.R.O. The first is Stephen, pretty self-explanatory. If he wants financial resources, he can also rely on Alice's crime syndicate. They have been going more straight in recent years. And I think as a third option, Tiffany still wants to overthrow her dad on her own terms, so linking up her resources with the MC's only makes sense due to his involvement.

Those are both true. Ella has done everything she did specifically to push superhumans to greater heights, so that when shit hits the fan people might be strong enough to save humanity. That being said, Langdon and Tanos each have their own agendas and motivations for S.I.N. I also don't think he'll leave immediately after returning to the human world or anything. Well, WeirdWorld does pump out updates pretty consistantly on 2-3 month intervals, with the next update estimated to release around the middle of march. The last few cycles have been on the slow-ish side due to the updates having more contant and IRL stuff happening.

Ain't hostile little bro, my bad if I came across that way, but you just go off your own headcanons around here and that shit might confuse newbies who are trying to get into the lore side of this story. Like you doing it here again, Ella didn't do nothing to push the superhumans nowhere, everything she's doing right now is her own agenda which we know very little of because she's cryptic as fuck when asked (seriously WW needs to cut this crap already).

Ella picked the MC as her chosen for reasons we have yet to see, she did the black moon ritual for reasons we have yet to see, she only bothered to help Langdon because SIN would distract HERO from her plans.

The only hint of her end game is when the doll told Emily that shit was going to get ugly but it would be better in the end but the way I see things, this could've all been avoided if she actually gave a damn about humanity.

We don't really know the circumstances of the Big 3, so it's hard to say. I'd need to see some flashbacks to the Unification Wars to see what that was all about first.

A big part of that probably has to do with them spending literal decades at lower levels. As blatantly stated in game and displayed by tree guy, even at level 3 you can have power comparable to that of a level 5, given you spend enough time and effort.

Level 4 would only be more impressive in that regard. And since those three are built different in general, it's very plausible that when the trio were level 4, the rest of the captains were 3 or lower, and so gained less power than the trio over time. That makes even more sense when you consider that the evolution serum didn't exist back then.

Also, by the three I mean Bernhart and Malik, since Henri evolved straight to level 5 lmao
