Little story bug...after completing the cheerleader questline you can still go to the gloryhole...and well, why would jess still wait for jared there? It would be something else if she waits for black, but since she didnt said anything about it, it would be kinda pointless for her to sit there and wait...it would make more sense to wait on the girls toilet for her favorite cheerleader, maybe even with some "lesbian" action ^^
I hope mia is okay after this end, she is my favorite girl next to my fanclub leader.
For the final question, i think it would make most sense to continue the investigation storyline now. We got the sample, we should use it before it starts smelling. Also we let our gym girl hanging because of the mafia showdown and it cant be a coincidence her genetic anomaly responds to the mc, there may be more to it...maybe even a way to transform others in the end.

So I finally got around playing this game and to be honest, I have been holding off for a long time because I was turned off by the art in the example pictures, but after playing it, the art grew on me and I like it. The only character that really needs fixing is probably the female cop, she looks exaggerated bad compared to the others. Besides that I really like the game, concept and writing. If I got a small complaint, its the lack of exploiting your powers. You can turn into other people, but he has not really done it to sleep around. He could turn into a persons partner to trick into sleeping with him or turn into an persons ideal type by looking in their mind, but he never does, unless I missed that option somewhere. Still a great game and cant wait to see what future updates bring.

The game implied we should regret not asking Ella for help, but keep in mind the mc transformed into an eagle and dog, and if Ella found out about that the mc would be in game over land.
MC also went through an evolution, got Alice as a gf, etc. Ella is implied to have a colossal amount of power comparatively. MC doesn't owe Ella any favors either. I think it was probably the best way to proceed.
On the subject of MC's escape from the collar, I would have acted differently. Would have wrapped my flesh around the collar by cutting off parts of my neck and not the whole thing. Seems it's ok with not exploding from dead flesh because it worked. Then I'd use the same power to make clothes to make an imitation collar so it looks like I'm still collared. Though I grant it would have been safer to make it look like a suicide if the guard's watching.
There really was tons of content and renders, it's hard to keep calling mc a virginlord after all the fun he had this update.
I think the guy's name was Mike? I don't want him to take the pill tbh. It's kinda cool seeing a human take on a beast several times stronger than himself, a feat Alice couldn't pull off even with powers.

Yea, forgot about that, turned that down because not really interested in the MC doing dudes. but regardless, for a shapeshifter he really has not been exploiting his shapeshifting abilities for personal gain. There was that cheerleader he learned that liked fat dudes and he was thinking of turning into one to seduce her into sleeping with him, only for it to be forgotten and later he just sleeps with her in his normal form. Then he never used the jocks form to sleep with his girlfriend, but he has no problem going to the gloryhole to get sucked by her, so morals is not a factor here. On a related note, he can turn into people he has devoured in mind and body, but he never uses it. Would be nice to see him try to infiltrate a group, so he kills and devours someone and has to pretend to be him, but to get close to the people up top, he has to do this for a while, so he has to interact with the dead guys family, friends, etc causing interesting situations.
Just would like to see him use his shapeshifting used for personal gain instead of just fighting.

So, I am wondering why jake suddenly caused mia to bleed from her face instead of just forget. That was a very spectacular way for his powers to suddenly fail.
He has been trained by Elle for a while and was freely altering people's memories with no issue until that point.
So why the sudden explosive failure?
Also why did Ella order him to target the MC's roomate like that?
And Ella was literally there at the beach with the MC, Jake, Mia, and the roomate.
Maybe Jake failed due to his emotions running out of control or Mia being special.
But I have a hypothesis that Ella actually sabotaged things by using her own powers on mia and the roomate first because she wants to setup the MC and jake to fight each other. As she has clearly been doing before such as when she assumes the MC's form and insults and berates Jake.
I believe she is hoping one of them eats the other and combines both the physical and mental powers in a single individual.
This is based on the bad end where Ella finds out the MC mental powers and goes something like "so you were actually perfect all along!" and then takes you with her to go after some really high level monsters but ends up encountering monster gods who nom both of you.

Maybe I'm just remembering it wrong, I thought when you told her you can turn into animals it just ends with a few lines.
It was one of the news stories where the mc hears an interview and the guy says he saw a big boobed snake lady drag a guy in the sewers. Then you later on see Ella fighting as a snake creature against the guy with a big sword.
Also, as a reminder when Jake tries to suggest something to you but he keels over causing Mia to look after him and cancel your study session? He says his head is throbbing with a severe migraine. That's what I think happened to Mia.

Sorta, yes.
I was just saying that I think the specific mechanics of it are a bit different based on the in game explanation on how mental clashes work.
Mental clashes are explained in game. There is a scene the player sees (but the MC does not see in character) of Jake training with Ella where she warns him to not try to use his powers on her or he will die regardless of her own intent.
She explained to him that when he tries to use his powers on a superhuman than their own power will automatically fight back instinctively even if the superhuman consents, barring exceptional circumstances. And in such a clash her energy will kill him due to her greater strength. With subtlety and the ability to detect the intrusion counting as well, not just the different in level.
When he tries to use his powers on the MC after the MC undergoes an evolution he gets a severe headach due to that automatic clash of powers. And that was when he was being subtle about it.

BTW I think the last update is trying to setup a cleaner handling for the Jake situation where the multiple branching in that relationship is simplified. I believe that depending on how you have been developing the relationship thus far there would be two paths to choose from:
A. You kill him. Potentially eat him too.
B. Jake realizes he completely blew it with Mia. He undergoes a redemption arc that involves him being booted from the love triangle but with potential to make amends... but even so will never regain the trust lost.
I think all other branches have really been killed off here. And B might not be an option either as it might just always go towards you killing him

Erm...think about it...why could ella want your best friend and roommate to submit to her will? Especially if that guy has access to the best lab and your dna?
He didnt fail...he evolved while breaking a friends mind...the difference to you was you embraced it in order to survive, but he was terrified and lost control, at least partially...i hope the dev decides to let her recover, right now it looks more like he crushed her brain instead of her memory...
And i dont think she tries to setup a fight, she spreads those pills to create more hybrids...its just not sure if she wants an army or if she wants to absorb them after developing useful features. We are more the physical fighting type, just like herself so pretty useless for her, jake is more the mentalist, much stronger than herself (otherwise she wouldnt make deals to get what she wants, she would just order them to to it and her excuse she would destroy him by reflex if he tried to force control over her mind is imho a lie to prevent him from doing it)...if she manages to control a stupid idiot that controls others, she gains a steady flow of testsubjects...and if the control stays after transformation she has a loyal army...the mission was loyalty to ella, not to him...and he was stupid enough to do it right away...
Fact is she cant control you, he cant control you either (yet) so she must make sure you dont team up against her...if he tells you ella trains him since months and what he can do...well, it could trigger the memories to come back, he stripped your girls, he messed with your memory more than once, ...and if she wants to absorb him it would be a bad idea to let him enrage you...i still hope to absorb that asshole for messing with my girls...
