The game attempts to be immersive, giving you this story about how super-powers can be given from a syringe, and it goes into the details of the society and how it is effected by this development, but it falls a bit short, mostly due to some translation errors and some relatively average dialog.
The art is kind of good, but most of the sexy scenes are done at weird angles that don't show off as much of the action as you probably want to see. The stories and plot themselves can be kind of interesting and sexy, though.
Unfortunately, the game is riddled with events that purely random chance, no matter how good your Attributes are, Attributes that you must raise through painstaking tedious ways. Money is especially difficult to earn, as you can't even get a job, until you've spent literal hours just grinding Attributes to unlock that part of the story, and even then, on a Janitor's salary you cannot afford new Powers, without spending more hours.
And earning a new Power is hard locked by Reputation, which you must also grind, except that its given out in even smaller amounts than your cash, and often through seemingly random events, which once again you can fail, and when you do fail, you actually LOSE reputation, instead of gaining it, so expect to save often.
Of coarse, when you DO get a new power, it is accomplished by a Character Flaw, usually related to one of the Seven Deadly Sins: a really interesting concept, but this makes the game noticeably harder, as its more things for you to micromanage. Even if you look past this, a Level 1 Power is essentially worthless (Mind Controlling Lv1 really accomplishes nothing you want it to, for example), so your back to the money grind, to get more shots.
Added even further on top of this, is the fact that you have to control your Lust Flaw and maintain your Grade Average at school. Despite everything I've complained about, keeping up your Grades is the WORST. This is due to the fact that you cannot actually see how your doing, your only told how you did once a week, on Fridays, I believe.
So, you basically have no idea if you Studied enough or not, although if you get it up high enough, you can ignore it for a few weeks, but eventually it will drop, unless you can somehow guesstimate the appropriate amount of Study Sessions needed to keep it up... which eats into the endless grind your already doing for Money and Reputation. This wouldn't be such a big deal, except that there's a ticking timer placed on this: if your grades drop too low, the Superhero association takes notice and comes down on you hard like your a criminal, presumably ending the game?
That aside, even if you complete all this junk, romancing the ladies is no better. You basically some simple conversations with them, out of a selection of nine topics, with each girl having a preference to certain topics, which is kind of neat. You have a limited number of Social Actions each day, which can be raised, and successfully talking with a girl earns you Favor, which is essentially a percentage. You can expend Favor for various Interactions and actual Favors, which eventually raises their Lust, and lets you do sexual things with them.
However, while Favor is easy enough to earn, Lust raises at a snails pace, and there's a substat called Corruption, which basically determines how kinky that Character will be. Unfortunately, you can only raise Corruption like one point at a time, and it's even RARER than Reputation, but you also need like 30+ to earn any scene.
The game also has a combat system, but no matter how strong you are, unless your maxed in Strength and the appropriate Power, your garbage at it, and even when you start to deal decent damage, your enemies can actually heal faster than you hurt them, leading to PAINFULLY long combat sessions, that sometimes take 10+ minutes, just to knock out a common thug, because your waiting for ALL your attacks to land perfectly every single time, otherwise they rest and reset everything. If you've played Pokemon, I'll put it like this: It's like trying to kill Snorlax, but all you have is a Pidgey, but both of you know Rest and have infinite Moves. It's so stupid, I cannot begin to state how dumb it is that your a "Superhero" with enhanced senses and abilities who cannot easy dispatch of a cat burglar in Hand-to-Hand combat.
This review has already gone on long enough, but I think you get the point: this game is a grind, and this is from someone who frequently plays MMORPG's. The game isn't as bad as I made it sound, there's plenty of content to see, but you will have to spend at least 5+ hours of your time MINIMUM to see anything interesting, maybe closer to 8+ hours if you want to see what the Powers bring to the game.
And, if you had any interest in the Mother or the Sister, be prepared to spend days of your time, as you need a separate Power for each relative, just to BEGIN the ordeal to unlock their interest in you.
However, if you decide to play: CHEAT. Cheat your ass off. Not just to loosen the Money and Reputation grind, change the girls stats. Set their Corruption and Lust wherever you want, because in the dozens of hours I spent trying to "legitimately" play this game, I barely got most of the Powers and Corruption to 10 (which doesn't accomplish much, except their comfortable going around topless or something).
This is not one of those games you want to pride yourself on beating, just cheat your stats and powers, and the game actually becomes enjoyable, hence the Three Stars. The game has a ton of potential, but damn is it hidden behind some massive hurdles, so just ignore them and try to enjoy the game, as I imagine the developer must want us to get some fun out of it somehow.
