Just downloaded and played the Day 10 release from the start and so far it is well worth your time. Graphics are cartoonish vs. realistic, but that lends itself into the fun feel of a 'game' vs. a graphic novel which would have easliy pushed this into the too dark realm IMHO. Storyline is solid, good variety in choices but not overwhelming while keeping with the zombie survival trope at its base. The relaitionship tracker is fine, pretty straightforward to get enough points to see all the current scenes. It doesn't seem to track any follow up scenes, like having sex with Hannah in the tower multiple days in a row does not get you any additional relationship points.

I didn't find any dead end choices on my first run through so the game saves are more for returning to specific times to view different scenes than a 'you died' scenario.
edit - if you fail the crate mini game, it does kill you ( I had to go back and check for sure ). If I missed any others, let me know.

Lastly, the mini game(s) could hopefully be expanded in the future as it progresses toward being completed.

I absolutely have no problem restarting this game (again), which it's sounding like will end up being required at some point. It's pretty short in comparison to most others, and I don't mind some grind, as long as it's not excessive. I definitely don't want this to become Dungeon Siege IV: The Survival Guide or something, though. I definitely agree progression seems a bit fast, especially with the doctor (nothing lewd, but kissing already — really?). I'm sure it's not necessarily easy to come up with new "filler" content (unless the dev says it is, ofc). But I do think demanding more of the MC before getting to the payoffs would be a smart idea. The more time we're able to spend getting to know the LIs, the more meaningful they'll become for players. That can only increase the number of folks who are engaged enough to support through different platforms.

Older saves won't be compatible with the next version, however, I'm planning to add an option at the start of the game that will allow to skip the first part and start at the shelter (sandbox) stage.

I don't mind some grind, as long as it's not excessive.
It is highly unlikely that I will introduce any grind mechanics at this point. Some scenes may reuse a few of already existing renders, but each scene will still be different content-wise.

That's fine with me. I'm anywhere between really liking to adoring each of the characters, so I'm looking forward to updated earlier parts as well as changes you make. Like I said, though you won't have grind, I do think bulking up the game with "filler" content that's meaningful — things like watching the sunset together, having a more heart-to-heart conversation with a LI, even something silly like splashing each other at the lake — all of these kinds of scenes build a greater attachment of the players to the LIs, making their investment in the story stronger. That can only strengthen the quality of the game... as long as you don't turn it into reading William Faulkner. :LOL:

I'm not overjoyed to learn that older saves won't work, but I appreciated being informed beforehand.

Hey folks! Long time no see!

I know I've been quiet for a while, so it's about time for a fresh progress update. As I mentioned in the previous post (it was paid, so not everyone've seen it), one of my main goals with the next update is to rework the relationship progression with your LI characters. The new version will include more in-between scenes, making character progression to more intimate moments feel more natural and rewarding.

Here's what's been happening so far:
- Visuals: Some older visuals for Days 1-4 have been reworked, and Day 5 content is fully updated (visuals+writing).
- Content: Several older scenes have been removed, while new ones were added to improve the relationship progression with the characters.
- Choices: Tons of new choices have been added, you will have to choose wisely to stay on characters' paths.
- Sandbox Mode (shelter): Added more side actions and talk scenes before you can get to more intimate moments.
- SFX: Music tracks added/replaced. New sound effects.
- UI: Some interface elements reworked.

Route reworks so far:
- Eva route is about 90% reworked
- Hannah route is about 40% reworked
- Emily route is still in progress

There's a possibility that I'll release a Day 11 Rework version first (old saves won't work ) as it contains quite a bit of new content on its own.

PS - I'll add an option to skip to new content, not to worry!
