Does this game ensure that to get the good ending you need to balance survival and gathering resources while your girl gets used but not too much or else you'll get the ntr ending?

Or to get ntred you literally have to choose to get ntred?

I did get first MC event when testing rival route and then kept triggering his events without a problem. I don't know if it locks you at later point but dialogue does not reflect potential earlier interactions with the other partner.
The routes are designed to be separate but you can try to mix earlier events a bit to spice things up, I'd advise not to go over event 3 (30+ points) and keep earlies saves so you don't have to start from the very beginning when going for other route.

Pretty much impossible to fail unless you choose to. As long as you gather three fruit, three water and make it back to sleep each day there's no risk at all. Water also has a decent chance to drop two at once, which makes it stamina positive to gather so it's even harder to mess up.

Dang but fair. I kinda like the games where it feels almost like you're forced to sac your girl for gameplay reasons to get a good ending. The delicate balance between the optimal gameplay choice at the cost of corrupting your girl really tickles my juju.

Reminds me of timeloop ntr by kegani lab where the optimal play in early loops is to study and upgrade all your skills instead of trying to raise her affection with you. But while you're doing this she's getting stolen away.

A survival island is such a good scenario for this type of game haha

I like survival NTR games when you can avoid NTR (or at least turning the girl into someone's walking onahole) if you know what you're doing and try hard enough (kind of like A Gentle Girl and a Short Escape 2) but you don't get punished for doing it (unlike Unidentified Flying Food games). At first Survive 1 seemed like it'll tick these boxes, but it's so easy it's anticlimatic.
The only real challange in this game is unlocking MC's gallery room, but the fighting system is far too basic for it to be enjoyable.
I'll have to check Survive 2 - apperently it's more complicated and I already bought it anyway, but I need to rest a bit before doing another Star's Dream game.
