Ren'Py - Abandoned - Swinger Family [v0.09] [Ozoz69]

The game had a lot of promise, but was undelivered and abandoned.
Models and CG is fine, but there is some really bad quality on lightning, background and just re-use, which is very obvious to notice and feels that it was done in a rush. Sam can be said with writing, when it started quite well, it did go downhill quickly with grammar mistakes, inconsistency and gaps in the story.
Rating this game as poor as definitely could have been done at much better standard.

Super hot game, and a shame it is abandoned. It is one of those unapologetically sexy and vulgar ones where you have to suspend disbelief slightly (as everyone falls into bed with everyone)... which is absolutely fine when you're not feeling a 3 day slow-burn something and just wanna dig in. The art isn't the greatest but it does the job and the raunchy text / content more then makes up for it. Sadly there's a point where the translation just cliff-dives, and with no more updates that's heartbreaking.. but worth playing till that point

I have played more games that were disappointing. Normally, I would not bother to write a review about them. For this game I make an exception, because I feel it could have been so much better. This review is about version 0.08.

What I am personally looking for in games are attractive, bold female characters, who rather take initiative than just being the subject of someone else’s desire. The two female leads offer all I could hope for. They are very beautiful and attractive.

The premise of the story is actually quite good. Tania and Ashley were a wild team at school / college, but lost track of one another since. Tania settled in a happy marriage with the MC. They enjoy having sex as husband wife and share fantasies to spice things up a bit. How would it be to have sex with someone else, watch your partner doing it, being watched? Maybe having a threesome or even go further? But it is only fantasy.
Then Ashley returns to town and the girls happily reunite. Ashley is still a wild one, enjoying all the benefits of an open marriage. The husbands get along fine, so there it is. Do Tania and her husband want to make their fantasies come true, with the help of Ashley and her husband? Of course, they do, hesitant at first.

A brilliant start of a story.

But then almost everything goes wrong with it.

For starters there’s the broken English. Actually, the first part of the game is not bad at all. I enjoyed some of the dialogues, especially between Tania and Ashley. But it gets progressively worse, to a point where I just could not guess what the writer was trying to say. And when you think you have reached the worst, you come across untranslated parts, written in Turkish. The writer warned us about the fact that he is not a native speaker, so his English is not the best. Not being a native speaker myself, and making mistakes all the time, this does not bother me much, as long as there is shown some effort and the underlying story is written well.

Unfortunately, the story is not written very well. There are inconsistencies. For instance, it is clear that Tania was a wild one before she met her husband. Then suddenly she says: I can’t do this; I never kissed another man than my husband.
Interesting characters are introduced, like Mike the tattoo artist and Gus the waiter. The ladies have their numbers, but they are never heard of again.
The MC gives the gym to Ashley’s husband, for free. Why would he do this? And will there be a payback at some point? And why introduce a gym in the story if you hardly use it? No clues whatsoever.
The story needs some interesting side characters. But Violet and Bahar are just braindead fuckholes. Not interesting at all.

And then there’s the dialogues. “How are you”, “I am fine, and you?”, “I am good too”, it goes on and on. Perhaps 25% of the text is useless filler that should be cropped.

Don’t think that all this chitchat is used to skip to new and interesting pictures. I have lost count of the number of clicks that is needed to see the next picture. For the amount of story, there are not many pictures in it.

The rendered characters are generally good looking, but not of the highest quality. I appreciate that some of the characters have a dark skin. Unfortunately, the artist is not very good at creating a dark skin, so they often just look like dark blobs on the screen. I don’t think my screen is to blame.

The lighting of the characters and the setting of them in the pictures is somewhere between mediocre and awfully bad. The all-time low must be the game of strip poker. When two of the players engage in sexy action because they have won or lost a game, the others remain in their position at the table, looking at their cards. They are just copy-pasted from a scene where they are playing poker.

Then there is something of personal taste. Both couples have kids, who are at the point of discovering their sexuality. A large part of the story is about their adventures. I think this complicates the story and distracts too much from the interesting swingers/hot wife/cuckold theme. There are so many other stories about teenage kids discovering sex, with or without the help of their parents or siblings. I think this story could be much better if there were no kids involved. The writer could then concentrate on Tania and her husband discovering new frontiers. But some may not agree with me on this.

I feel sad, because I really like Tania and Ashley.

The pemise of this 'game' is a good one, assuming that you're into the kinks/fetishes included, but the execution is just so poor, imo.
And I mean pretty awful.

Pros.
Tania and Ashley are good-looking models. That's about it.

Cons
The renders are without a doubt, the roughest I've seen in ANY game on here. Most are grainy and definitely need 'cooking' for much longer.
The lighting is massively inconsistent and the posing, for the most part, looks awkward and unnatural.
Some backgrounds don't even look as though they've been through the rendering process, to me.
This dev has been doing this for a while, yet there seems to be little to no improvement in the visuals, or anything else for that matter.

The storyline, such as it is, is totally unrealistic and lacks any depth, backstory, chracter developement etc, etc.

The English is poor and seems to be getting worse.

Not worth the download, imo, unless you're absolutely desperate to play a game of this particular genre.

crappy game that gets bugged out far too often to keep my interest. you can't even go on to the next version and there is no explanation for that at all. glad it's abandoned. i hope all amateur dev-wannabes like this one day get discouraged once and for all and don't dare to make adult games anymore.

The Game has great Renders,no Slowing Pace in the Game.
I like the Family fun here,lots of potential here.
If Ozoz69 finds somebody to check the Spelling,then this Game could be in my Opinion one of the Top ten Games out there at the moment.

Update V0.07b:
Ozoz69 has been doing a Great job with his Game with each Release that he brings out,Typing errors are getting less with each release, what happens though, is that there are complete scenes in Turkish language that just seems to be missed while translating.
but overall I really enjoy every release he brings out,and it is Top Fap material.

Interesting story with good graphic. Although updates are quite rare I really recommend this game. Plus there are some really "fun" fetishes that You won't find very often. I hope that author won't abbandon this project and he will be developing it further. I really recomend to try it, besides it's not soo long and complicated.
P.S. I hope that stats are relevant, becauce there are lots of them.

it is NOT bad give it a try

At first there were some tags which i not like due to which i thought of not playing but then i thought what the hell why not give it a try.

After playing it i LIKED the idea of having options to avoid something if u do not like, such as if you are not into anal u can avoid it and if you are into insect you can play it.

I also LIKED the stats which shows +&- points given to a particular category by your decisions it's very helpful.

As for the renders i would say they are not very bad as everyone knows hard work & experience brings perfection.

So overall i would say the game is not bad.

You should give it a try you might like it like me.

very unique take on the swinger genre. actually, first game i've seen that even has swinger in it. what content is out is a very good appetizer of what's to come. it's not a perfect game, so no perfect score. actual swinging and the renders are a bit fuzzy. i'm looking forward to where this is heading.

It's not a good Promo for a game, directly after the introduction of some of the characters it ends. Less than 5minutes of gameplay or better clicking and reading. That's all for now. Wait if there will come an update before you try it yourself. Worst promo I've played yet

The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs...

(01/26/2018 - Original Review - v0.01 Promo)

Nothing more then a very short introduction, with no revelation on what the plot is going to be, beyond the title itself...

The visuals of the characters are alright, but very few are presented... And there was only one actual backdrop...

The script is super short and mostly broken English, which is somewhat understandable, with some mismatched names as well as spelling/grammar errors... There isn't a plot, as this is just a very basic introduction of characters... The only clue about a plot is based off the title and the narrators quick mentioning of him and his wife having a monotonous sex life... No clue if this will have Family Sex, although the daughter is 18, and the one visual of her showed her wearing a sexy dress in a sexy pose, so is that a hint? I don't know... The son is 16, so he better not be anywhere near the sex stuff unless this developer wants to risk some serious problems...

Overall, there isn't an overall because this Promo doesn't show you much at all... There is no content really... It is barely an introduction... Will I revisit it? If it gets any content and completely revamps the English translation/interpretation from the ground up, then maybe yes...

(04/02/2018 - Review Update - v0.02)

So it's been several months since I played this game, and although the text has improved somewhat, the story/plot/visuals/etc. all have some serious issues... Lets start with the text, the biggest issue it had before, has somewhat improved to the point where it is somewhat readable... But it still has a lot of broken English here and there, mixed with spelling/grammar errors... Add to that, the story goes pretty fast and feels weird to read... The writing style is not very good, and the plot is pretty much lots of over the top sexual stuff...

The character development is just a fast moving fest of sexual perversion for all the characters, and feels completely forced... No natural progression to how quickly all the older adult characters personalities develop... And the younger adults also have over the top personalities... As an example, with the daughter and her would be boyfriend, going from a shy guy asking out a very sexual acting young woman, for the first time, to being totally in love with each other, talking like life long lovers, two seconds later... It all feels somewhat rushed, forced, and way over the top... Feels like most of the characters are pretty much just there as sexual objects for the story/plot to include in it's porn fest... None of them feel like real people at all...

Then there is the visuals... There are a lot of grainy, and even some SUPER GRAINY pictures in this VN/Game... Mix that with the male protagonist not looking his age... The story has him telling us he's been married for over 21 years, which at a minimum would put his age at 39 if he got married right at age 18... Possibly older, but yet his character looks like he's straight out of High School almost... At least in his early to mid 20's, not going on 39 maybe early 40's... His wife, she looks a little more age appropriate, maybe... Her female friend also looks a bit young for her age... The remainder of the characters look a lot closer to their ages, visually...

Also, right smack dab in the middle of the current content, we get a bunch of advertising by the author/developer about the game and his Patreon webpage, and so on... And it's all in Caps, being basically screamed at us, before the story continues on...

Overall, you can't really take this story serious at all... Don't even try... It's just a very basic and oddly written porn fest, with stereotyped and over the top characters... Pretty much every character is there to add more sex targets into the mix... There is no meaningful or deep story or plot... The visuals are mix match of ok, to totally messed up pictures... It feels rushed and just thrown together in a hurry... It is still in it's early days of production, but I fear for it's future, based off what I've seen and read so far... I do wish the developers the best of luck, but I will not be revisiting this VN/Game for a long while... Maybe I'll check back when it's all done, to see if it ever got better, but for now I don't see any promise... It feels more like a learning experience gone awry, and I hope they learn from it and make something better in the future...
