I thought about what I could say if I were Kirito, and realized that I just couldn't find the words. What can you say to a girl who has known Inoda for 2 months and says to a guy with whom she has been together for 4 years, "Inoda has always been there for me, unlike you"? I think a good double kick to the head would be my answer. No matter how rude it sounds.

And Kirito himself... I don't even know... judging by how stupid and soft-hearted he is in the game, he would start to apologize, he would tell her that the investigation is very important, but when it's over, he will only be with her. I doubt that Kirito, who is in the game, would get angry or put Asuna in front of a choice of "him or me?" but putting Asuna in front of a choice would be the most appropriate thing. When a girl compares her boyfriend with another person, it means that she subconsciously evaluates the possibility of choice. In true love, there is not and should not be any comparisons.

Not that it matters much, but I think Fujino just changed their ages, so SAO probably happened about two years ago, meaning they've been together for maybe 1.5 years.

Well, to be honest, it's not entirely clear from the game. That's why I'm focusing on the original dates. Kirito and Asuna joined Aincrad in 2022 when they were 14 and 15, and in 2026 they were 18 and 19, respectively. Kirito and Asuna spent 2 years in Aincrad (2 fucking years between life and death, and then some Inode comes along and ruins everything in 2 months) then about a year at ALFheim. If Kirito didn't save Asuna, she probably spent even more time in ALFheim before her father found her. So even in Fujino's world, they must have been a couple for at least 3 years. And if we take the year 2026, then it turns out about 4 years.

upd: I don't remember exactly, but in the first part there was a dialogue somewhere from which it was clear that the events of Aincrad were completely canonical. So that's about the time.

What's much sadder is that in their 4 years of relationship they only had sex 6 times. You could say that Kirito was almost frigid.

You guys keep talking about this sex, but no one explains what it is. What is this sex? Never heard of it.

Yes, this is probably the main parody element of the game around which all events are built. Kirito has low stamina and a small penis.

And no desire for sex, at the beginning of the game Asuna herself tells him, says that it's time for them to do it, because he has a lot accumulated. Although in the game itself he seems to be not deprived of such desires

Yeah, sounds like Kirito
In fact, Kirito lived as a recluse, and then he got into the game at the age of 14. No one told him about sex. Just like Asuna. But Asuna received sex education from Oberon in a timely manner, and Kirito remained uneducated in this matter. Asuna's memories were erased and she continued to live with Kirito. Although in the first part it was already clear that Asuna was dissatisfied when she used toys. Then Inoda, the master of sports in sex without rules, appeared and showed Asuna the world of big sex. And Kirito didn't even scratch himself. Lol.

Well, because what could be easier than to cum and fall asleep in 30 seconds? Nothing complicated at all. Even for Kirito

Jokes aside, they’re just a dysfunctional couple; they can’t figure things out. Period. You see him interacting with others, and he’s not opposed to trying things out—on the contrary. But with Asuna, it will never happen because there will always be an excuse to just do nothing.

It is much sadder than that if you use Asuna's stats as the truth of this game. This is her stat at the beginning of Part 1 which means this is before she interacted with Inoda.

This means she only had sex with Kirito 5 times and only orgasmed twice. It could have happened during one of the 20 times she masterbated. So yeah even before Inoda she did not have much a happy sex life.

Now it gets does get slightly better. In the beginning of Part 2 before Kirito unlocks her true stats in the shrine is this:

I assuming this is her stats with Kirito alone. No Inoda and Oberon. This means they had a lot more sex and she had a lot more orgasms. But it also means they never kissed again. It is also kinda fun their sexual journey together. Besides kissing and HJ once in a while, all they do is sex, no other activities. Since I think we only saw Kirito and Asuna had sex once or twice in Part 1, I assume all the sex they had was after Lustiful Night. I wonder if Asuna was trying to overwrite that event with Kirito?

Numbers are fun! :BootyTime:

At this point, we can agree the numbers mean nothing; the Oberon retcon makes it all questionable. Her orgasm count should be way higher

Well, personally, I was surprised why Fujino decided to change Asuna's character in this way as the story progressed. In the first part and at the beginning of the second, she looked like the original Asuna - active, smart, making plans for the future together with Kirito. But the further the second part went, the more Asuna became too passive and hypocritical. As if sex had deprived her of any aspirations. Perhaps this is a hint of what Oberon was doing to her, or just Fujino decided that the original Asuna did not fit into the plot of the parody.

Yeah, their everyday couple interactions were alright back in Part 1, but they still never solved any issues; that's what I'm talking about.
