I just don't understand why people come to a thread which they don't like and express his dislikes of the genre/fetish. And the complain is not about the game but the genre/fetish.

what you want to get by expressing your dislike?

To understand the fetish? no, you won't because it's not something can be explained with words. And you won't suddenly like the fetish because people explain it to you.
I dont mind the kind of comment he left. It wasnt just straight, "fuck NTR you sickos" kind of stuff you normally see. It was a guy who gave the game a go and then said he didn't like it, and NTR wasnt for him.

If people don't like a specic genre, just check "Genre" spoiler: if tag is present go to another thread... Simple!

Yeah, that why nobody is dissing him at all.

But I am just genuinely don't understand what he really wants. Understand the genre? And after understanding why people enjoying it, what's the next? Will he play more and starting to enjoying it? Or just like he said, he will play no more. So why waste time on this at all. What he want to get out of it? Just fulfill his curiosity? Maybe this is the reason or no?

for example, I don't like gay content, and some day I decided to look the movie "brokeback mountain". I will probably say this is a boring story, or this story is bad, or the story is amazing, or the movie is good and etc.

I won't go to this movie's review/discussion thread to say that gay content is not for me. Because I already know it's gay content that I don't like but I still looked the movie. And I will not go there to ask : why you guys like gay content or similar things. I can't understand the logic of such behavior. I am just curious here.

Personally to me I immerse myself to the women being corrupted like asuna, as the thought of being completely dominated and mind broken is pretty damn hot imo
Oh then plenty of people can help you with that, here in this thread especially.

Probably nothing, it's not that deep. He just played it and left his thoughts. I doubt he put much thought into the whole process.

In most parts Gay content is genrally seen as "not weird" unlike "NTR". It's like asking people who like Gore on why they get excited from something so weird. Obviously NTR lovers fall into that category; as in them getting excited on something that makes most people sad; so that makes me curious on why? but yk you don't have to answer, plenty of people in the thread.

Just read, watch, or play NTR genres and you will go to the acceptance stage HAHAHAHA
You're in the denial stage.
This guy for example proves my point, why suffer through this "denial" just to get some pleasure from it at the end of it all? it's just weird isn't it? but again, don't want to come harsh on that; i'm just fishing opinions.

What's there to think about :cautious: but you're right it's not that deep; yet no one can answer a simple question?

It's not about the level of how "weird" it looks to you. you can easily replace the "gay content" in my post to "scat content" or anything else that looks more "weird" than NTR to you. And my question is still valid.

So basically it's curiosity as I mentioned.

This guy for example proves my point, why suffer through this "denial" just to get some pleasure from it at the end of it all? it's just weird isn't it? but again, don't want to come harsh on that; i'm just fishing opinions.
I think you misunderstand him, he said a lot people now enjoy NTR used to suffered a phase of disliking it.

But what you said "why suffer through this "denial" just to get some pleasure from it at the end of it all?" is a more general method used in a lot art/fiction/movies/tv series called contrast. A good comedy is mostly based on tragedy.

The more happy the couple seems to be, the more pleasure/sadness it brings to people seeing them departure. Yeah, kind of evil it sounds, but it's human nature. Human has the instinct of breaking perfect things(while human also has the instinct to make perfect things). Thus NTR bring a lot emotional fluctuations to satisfying such instinct.

Thought about making this meme after i Played part 1 xD View attachment 3066047
...this is kinda the exact opposite, though, even now Suguha still keeps on hating Hebishima and from the beginning Asuna was nothing but kind to Inoda XD (Also, doubly-hilarious you used a pic of Kawase Saeki's Suguha, aka the Suguha who is constantly getting dicked by her Onii-chan through a decade-long series of doujins that while very vanilla-looking are based on the premise that she Reverse NTR-d Asuna on the very first one so hard neither her nor Kirito ever mentions her existence again, lol)

To understand the fetish? no, you won't because it's not something can be explained with words. And you won't suddenly like the fetish because people explain it to you.
There is all kinds of people in the world, as somebody else said at least he was polite about it. And the inability to read tags seems to go to both sides of the NTR likes or not, I remember a while ago I found this other SAO game from an artist I follow on Twitter that makes amazingly anime-accurate-looking art of the characters here and it had like 5 pages...95% of those pages were people complaining and whining about why the game wasn't NTR and was instead Kirito fucking his waifus, and how much better the game would be if it was NTR (And 3% a guy defending Kirito with multi-paragraphs-long arguments, then a 2% actually talking about the game normally).

So yeah, I think we should be grateful that despite his statement and reactions the guy was surprisingly polite and casual about the whole thing (Granted, if he had tried to mock people who like this game I'm sure the result would be drastically different from that other game's thread ).

This is my first and last time having to do anything with NTR, I was just curious on what the fetish is all about; regret it deeply though, I’m just not mentally built for that.

For me personally Incest games are fine unless it includes your own family members in it, which makes me very uncomfortable and sick even imagining it.

But in the case of NTR it’s hits different, since cheating is a fairly common act of betrayal in society that’s very upsetting/distressing and can ruin lives to the point of suicide. So typically when you immerse yourself in story where MC gets cucked especially when the heroine starts of as a saint, tuns into a cheating sex devil, it just feel upsetting since you put yourself in his shoes, having to live in his POV.

anyway it’s either that or incest is seen as a taboo but still seen as morally wrong, unless it’s in Games, porn, Hentai etc..

But I’m not here to criticize fetishes (unless they’re extremely morally wrong) I’m just fishing for some serious opinions.
So yeah, I think we should be grateful that despite his statement and reactions the guy was surprisingly polite and casual about the whole thing (Granted, if he had tried to mock people who like this game I'm sure the result would be drastically different from that other game's thread ).
I might be reading too much from his statement but he reminds me what a closet homosexual trying to convince himself is not gay would say. Saying NTR and cheating is morally wrong but trying a NTR game to see if he likes it. After trying it he still says he does not like it but goes to NTR game forum to asks why other people like it. Also his "Incest games are fine unless it includes your own family members in it" sounds so wrong like "Gay porn is fine unless it includes men I know".

I don't what to insult this guy but everything he says confuses me. Like he likes morally wrong things but is ashamed of it.

yeah, I am not blaming him at all. I just want to understand people's mind which I don't quite understand. Because without understanding why the question is asked, the answer can be irrelevant in a lot cases.

And you can see in the end after I know why he want to ask that question, I explain my thoughts on why people love NTR, and the reasoning not just adapt to NTR fetish but probably adapt to a lot similar fetish.

If I was the artist you mentioned, I will become depressed. Because the fanbase basically ignored my creation, only just 2% actually care about it.

Exactly my question, i don't know how it got twisted so much; feel like this whole thread is against me.

There it is, the answer! even though i don't feel pleasure from happy couples breaking up, but it's very common nowadays and i've seen it firsthand. thank you, NTR makes somewhat of a sense here even though the reason for liking it makes it more sad and miserable, but enjoy it anyways.

Nothing changes i was simply correcting his attitude since his pride over NTR comes first, and he won't tolerate anyone saying anything slightest bad about it, still no judgment whatsoever.

Saying no judgement while judging someone's attitude in the same sentence. Excellent!

I mentioned in my post that this would basically would turn into a redundant discussion because if you don’t have interest in the genre it’s not something someone can explain and you’ll get it because it’s a complex genre with so many types and layers and adding to the fact that each person have their own niche within the genre.

I will say kudos to you for not throwing insults at the genre but we get these type of questions on a weekly basis and often times with insults on who enjoy these fictional type works. No need for moral superiority everyone is here to enjoy their favorite kinks/fetishes.
