It could be foreshadowing as you said, but there are three arguments against it. First off, we’re far into the game, and she has basically no connection to Inoda. Secondly, it was a dream sequence back in Part 1, I believe, not sure, I thought it was Liz? But back then, Fujino didn’t have plans to change Suguhas character. And lastly, dream sequences aren’t always foreshadowing, like the Asuna and the thugs dream; we know for sure that’s never going to happen. To sum up, Fujino isn’t the best writer, but I don’t think he’d put so much effort into giving her a unique story just to ruin it with some random, illogical twist. In the end, reverse NTR is still NTR, just her cucking Asuna, as long as we get scenes out of it, everything should be fine

While I do agree that we are getting an XL-sized update, I would be more modest with my expectations regarding the amount of scenes.
A large event may include up to 4 or 5 CGs, while more humble scenes such as the bathroom event from last update was probably 3.
When we include the battle harassment cgs, there were more than 15 CGs for the update we just played.

Of course, that was due to the nature of the battle H-scenes that needed a lot of CGs, but I have played the counting CG game for a lot of updates and I always ended up exaggerating the final number.

I understand and wasn't really referencing the length of the scenes, but just that there are maybe 8 scenes based off the progress reports.

Funny enough, Suguha was the first side character to have met Inoda, with Kirito and Asuna taking him to her coffee shop after they saved him from getting beat up by those random bullies in part 1.
Although I am not entirely sure if there has been any more encounters such as that afterward until their encounter recently.

But that encounter does bring up something that might be important.

It could be foreshadowing as you said, but there are three arguments against it.

I have said this many times before, but the biggest issue with Suguha is her future in the many incoming updates until the ending. As a heroine in a porn game there is an obligation for lewd scenes to continue happening, and while there are certainly a lot of potential scenes she could have while maintaining her current plot, it is much more difficult for Fujino to handle an almost unique development path as the Reverse NTR, yandere set-up that Sugu has been building up, then simply going back to the easy "Big Dick Corruption NTR" plotline.

We all live by the whims of the creator. Like 4-kun said before, no one is forcing Fujino to do anything. The supporters can suggest but it is Fujino who decides. If he wants to sudden stop everything and end the game in the FU way possible to his fans, he can. Since he is Japan most of us can't hunt him down for vengeance!

Suguha has already made a unbelievable escape from being the stereotypical NTR bull's side piece. What a waste it would be if she goes back or doesn't do something something incredible like Reverse NTRing Kirito away.

Storyline is simple, not wanting Kirito to know about her in the FOG as well about Hebishima simple blackmail. We know Inoda is following Kirito around incognito mode if he sees something about them in FOG and discover the blonde elf is her.

Hebishima only offered Suguha sex and blackmail, with not much else that could be of interest to her. That's why now that Suguha doesn't need to fear his blackmail anymore, she only uses him for the occasional incest roleplay AV performance and to make a quick buck while in FOG.

On the other hand, while the pig is a shivering Coward, a stinking fuggly bastard, dick-for-brains pervert, and many other things. He is also someone in a position to influence not only Kirito but Suguha's biggest "competition", Asuna.



Again, I repeat, it would be an awful decision from a writing perspective but my pessimistic self could see it happening if Fujino just wants to rush or wrap Suguha's character at some point.

I think it would be a great scene to show the stark difference of the characters before and after getting even more corrupted in part 2.

I don't know what you are expecting from the game, but while there may be some wiggle room for the side-characters, there is no way that Asuna won't get corrupted like that at some point.
