I'm planning to start this game but since it has the "Japanese game" tag, I have two questions:
1. Japanese developers tend to portray the main character as a loser/stupid in NTR Japanese games. Is it the same in this game? Or does the complex story and events lead to NTR (meaning the MC can't be blamed)?
2. I hope the FMC isn't stupid and her path to corruption isn't too swift.
I don't like very stupid and incompetent MCs (like MC Boy Hero Ken ~Haunted House Investigation~)
On your number 1 point;
While I would contest your idea that Japanese NTR games are any more likely than western releases to make their NTR protagonist a drooling imbecile, this game does in fact make Kirito, the game's protagonist, look like he has a peanut for a brain.
Although I wouldn't say he is particularly at fault for the NTR happening, at least not in my opinion.
Now onto your question number 2;
Asuna, this game's heroine, is certainly portrayed as an idiot without any real ability to judge people or their actions when it's convenient for the NTR narrative, so I would say that you probably wouldn't like her.
Now, her corruption is not as Easy to breakdown, because while she had an incredibly easy time cheating on her boyfriend, she wasn't exactly corrupted immediately and the game has purposely spent tons of hours on the ups and downs of her fall into debauchery.
If I were to answer you unasked question number 3, will I enjoy this game?
I would say that you probably wouldn't really love it if your tolerance level for stupidity is too low, but I would also say that you might as well give part 1 a try.
At most you will have wasted an hour of your time to find out if the game is for you, and you might as well spank your monkey to a good looking 3d model as a compensation for your time.
Reminds me of Nononono Manga
The author of that manga, Lynn Okamoto, has long since become infamous for his absolute inability to handle an ending. His most famous works such a Elfen Lied, Parallel Paraside, Brynhildr in the Darkness, and NoNoNo are all filled with interesting and lovable characters, but without fail Okamoto manages to deliver the most bland and unsatisfactory ending a human could think of. (Elfen Lied is his best ending yet, and that was pretty meh for such a fun series.)
Fujino could end the game next update with Suguha killing Kirito and Asuna, marrying Inoda, and breaking the 4th wall to say "SixDates stop posting comments about me, it's cringe." And it still wouldn't be as bad as an ending as what Okamoto regularly puts out with his series.
That's a thing unfortunately, I don't know insert NTR in other medias most of the time fells forced.
Look is like the author/studio see the sales/viewership falling "oh we need to do something, I know how about we include NTR" sort of thing. But also sad is that sometimes this thing works figures
Something very funny about me, is that despite being waist deep in the sea that is NTR hentai, I actually absolutely hate when someone gets in the way of a romantic couple in a series. Serious love triangles, harems, molesting events, all those manner of events manage to kill my enjoyment of a series.
The inclusion of secondary love interest that will obviously never win are at best an eye-rolling moment to me, or at worst a reason for me to drop a series. (In particular I hate love triangles between friends, it always leaves me feeling like at least one of the parties was a huge dick. This is the reason I dropped Recovery of an MMO Junkie. The love triangle subplot was so awful.)
Which is a bit funny considering what type of game we usually discuss in this forum almost every single day.
can i have a full save pls !?
Download the gallery mod from the first post in the thread.
In short: The dev is chinese, but the game is pretty much what you discribed
If it looks like a cuck, sounds like a cuck, and behaves like a cuck....
Fujino's game is so Japanese coded that we might as we consider it one of them at this point.
