I can't believe people still think Inoda somehow planned for the pandemic to trap him and Asuna inside the hotel. How could he with only some money and no influence on anyone important ever convince other people to play along with the plan? He only planned to stay with Asuna for a few days for Liz to calm down. But it was just Fujino or Administrator influence the story to force them to have IRL scenes quickly. He just got lucky due to someone else's work again. Talking about you Sugou!
The plot hole of Inoda having his VR set at the hotel is not hard to explain. If he didn't bring his own set, he could borrowed one from the hotel. VR is so popular in SAO it would not be weird for high end hotels to keep some for their client to use. Or he could have bought a new one, with Kyouko or Asuna's money of course. Even if they are in a lock down, they can still get supplies from the other side or everyone would starve.
