It depends on the genre of the anime. If the characters are adults then acting like that is just weird. But if the anime character is a teenager then of course the tv censors don't want them to seen having sex. Most teenagers are seen as dumb and indecisive because they are young and inexperienced. That is true in most medium not just anime.

Interesting fact about that SAO moment you mentioned. Asuna and Kirito did have VR sex that time so canon Kirito is not impotent and a virgin even at the beginning of SAO if you count VR sex.

This is based on canon SAO relationship. Kirito and Asuna have always been the perfect couple. Neither of them was ever interested in anyone else. This is actually one thing I don't like about the series. The author clearly wants the couple to stay together but he keeps adding girls that try to get into Kirito's pants. He never wants to and the girls are just there to give him a "harem" he will never uses. It is like the author is trying to have a harem and one true love romance at the same time which is annoying.
Actually, small correction that I actually mentioned in the past but bears reminding, SAO is NOT like your average 'Harem anime' in that aspect actually. While there is no doubt the author was cruel with the other girls by basically creating them having lost in the novels (As none of them ever existed before Kirito and Asuna had already gotten together), despite what some haters may say or some people trying to take some scenes out of context, the girls never actually DO try to get into Kirito's pants or steal him from Asuna in the slightest, Liz and Sugu's takes on this game may have warped your mind but it's actually a big and clear point in the series that regardless of their own feelings they put them aside and decide to be friends instead as it's the best they can have, even sometimes actively helping out KiriSuna get time together for themselves. The only one 'exception' to this was Alice and that's because of both her extremely unique and fucked-up circumstances and also because the series originally ended with her arc back in the original web novel XP

I barely remember the plot at the start of PART 2, can someone help explain on some points. I don't have time to replay from the start yet.

I remember that Asuna was trying to cut all ties and connections with Inoda (especially in real life) after the storm night (Part 1 ending) but she still got entangled with Inoda somehow along the way.

My questions are about those IRL events between Asuna and Inoda like handjob scene in the gym (Asuna's cheerleader outfit), Asuna visit Inoda apartment and sleep with him on the bed (just lying on bed, if I remember correctly), why did she do that?

The HJ scene in the gym happened because Asuna hurt her feet and Inoda was there to help her. He (with Administrator's help) massaged her feet and told her jokes that made her feel really good. So as thanks she gave him a HJ. This is basically his strategy. Make her see him as a friendly but important part of her life and then extract sexual favors from her so he can make her body can't live without his dick.

I don't know what scene you are talking when they lie on his bed together. Maybe you talking about when Asuna was forgiving him for the Lustful Night and then she flashbacks to that night after she wakes up from all the sex?

I think he's talking about this scene. This is where Inoda showed what a good manipulator he is (now he has apparently lost this skill), wanted to turn himself in to the police, but Asuna stopped him and forgave him. There is a small animation in the form of memories of how they sleep in the morning.

To be honest, it would be interesting to see Asuna's reaction when she woke up, rather than a few days later.

That is what I thought. That scene had a lot of interesting details. Liz gave Inoda a script to follow but he is a idiot and can't remember so he winged it. You find the script outside his apartment earlier. He makes vague comments about ending it. Since they are both SAO survivors she thought he was going to kill himself. He rolled with it and said he will instead turn himself into the police and become a criminal. Asuna not wanting he to ruin his life makes the excuse of not wanting Kirito to find out and forgave him. This really shows how good he is without help and how useless Liz's advice is.

Also we do see Asuna's reaction the morning after. It was regret and disbelief. She probably just left quietly while Inoda was still sleeping.

I think it's not that he's good manipulator. The question is, did Asuna want the police, and later Kirito, to find out that some fat schoolboy raped her? I think in that scene, Asuna made sure that no one found out about. In the situation with Oberon, she also hid everything. As the game progresses, it can be seen that Inoda makes a lot of mistakes and sometimes says something completely inappropriate, and Asuna would have gotten rid of him long ago, but we know Asuna is kind, Asuna has developed a motherly instinct, and do not forget that Inoda is essentially blackmailing Asuna by disclosing information about Lust Night.

But at the moment it doesn't matter anymore. I think Asuna has long forgotten about that situation and is quite happy with everything. And funnily enough, it became very noticeable that Inoda stopped being some kind of genius manipulator.

If you look at the scene it is obvious Asuna just didn't want Inoda to ruin his life so she thought of the excuse of Kirito finding out to stop him. Even Inoda realized this and was amused. If Asuna remembers Oberon then she would not tell Kirito so he won't worry. My headcanon right now is Asuna's father blocked those memories so she can live a happy life. Inoda always uses her weakness of caring about others more than herself to manipulate her.

Inoda does make a lot of mistakes but you have to admit he is a great manipulator when he works alone. Remember he planned in Part 1 to have the thugs attack Asuna so he can save her and make her into his debt. His biggest mistake was the Lustful Night but that only happened because he found out Asuna was going to leave with Kirito soon to America. So it was a act of desperation and if this was the standard NTR Asuna would have fallen to his dick that night. It just sucks in Part 2 Administrator and Liz is helping him to make all successes in Part 2 seem maybe because of them.

What are the chances that the update will be uploaded on November 30 or December 1?
Dev's latest post mentioned that he probably won't be able to finish and release by the end of month (Sat 30th Nov) so hopefully we can get a new update on Sun 1st Dec or maybe Mon 2nd Dec (JP time tho)

If there's one thing I'm already aware of, it's that this new update will just be a kind of filler, apparently it won't have anything relevant to Asuna (which is funny, because at the end of the last update Fujino had said that they should start things in the real world, but the update arrives and he took Asuna out of the city)

Yeah, while I don't have the irrational hate a lot of people seem to have for him, I actively dislike Rito, but I can understand the whys, his series IS a comedy parody first and foremost, so yeah. And well, the great majority of TLR doujins are usually NTR for that reason, really XD (It just doesn't have as many games in general) Also, ironically, Canon Rito actually IS titanically downgraded still in NTR settings, they make him have a small dick and no stamina as it's the Standard Cucked MC package, but Rito canonically: Has a massive 'beast' down there, can make girls easily orgasm with just his hands and mouth while half-asleep at practically no effort from how good he's with them, and has enough stamina to outrun and survive impacts from dangerous strong aliens. The guy is a SIMP and a loser, but his creator certainly put him way above the average anyway just because he could XD
A To Love-ru game about Rito's alter-ego would be peak.

Kirito is not very assertive and does not give his female friends the boundaries of the rules, he is too nice to everyone. Despite the girls knowing that Kirito and Asuna are a couple in love, they will always be together. When it comes to harem, you know the creators do it because it is marketing, it is just a pseudo-harem, because the girls do not pick up and steal Asuna's boyfriend like other harem anime. In 2024, LN Sword Art Online Light Novel Volume 28 (Unital Ring VII) was released
