It's up to me, but Kirito alone represents sao's problems since he's its official face. I followed the anime from seasons 1 to 4 when they came out, and while it's certainly better in the LN, I find it pretty lame as time goes on. Arc 1 is cool, but after that it varies a lot, leading up (in my case) to the end of alicization with pitiful scriptwriting ease.
And I come back to my opening sentence, Kirito, it's the same thing. He's sympathetic at first, then more or less a pain in the ass as time goes by and, above all, he's a fucking gary-sue by the end of season 4. So, like a lot of shonen heroes, he's a pain in the ass for me. Combine that with the fact that he has a potential harem (purely theoretical considering he's loyal) including some of the most high-profile waifus (hello suguha fans) and you've got a character who's sometimes arrogant, strong at times for nothing and, what's more, incredibly lucky (sorry, but the pyjama party in season 4 is lunar).
So there you go, once again, that's just me. However, as an NTR fan, seeing Asuna get corrupted is a pleasure, but seeing Kirito finally lose something for real without the scenar helping him is a bonus that makes me happy.

well, I personally didn't mind Kirito in anime and then, enjoying seeing Kirito lose someone makes no sense it's like getting revenge on him and for what? why is it annoying?

I'll chime in here as a vanilla fan and non-NTR guy. First of all, I play this because I like seeing Suguha and Asuna and all the SAO girls in sexy situations, and that alone is enough for me to try it regardless of my dislike of the base story.
I don't like the story because: if Kirito is supposed to be 'me', and the whole story is about my woman being stolen away with nothing I can do about it (and by this scumbag, not even a real man)... what's the appeal of this? I don't get it. You have to be some kind of a masochist to jerk off to this. That's fine if that's you, but it's not me.
The other angle would have to be "I don't like Kirito and enjoy watching him lose Asuna", but that's not true for me either. I acknowledge he's a mary sue and kind of boring, but I'm not a hater. Not enough for me to enjoy watching a happy couple broken up by this loser.
So I would enjoy this story much more if there was a way I could make Kirito do something, anything to make things right for himself a little bit. That's why I hope for endings like Kirito dumping Asuna and jumping on Suguha, however unlikely they might be. I get that the pure NTR fans don't like it, but... this is a thread about the SAO game, not NTR.

I mean, that's a wrong assumption too, as someone who's been around this game since Part 1, I can say a lot has changed. While people who wants to imagine some vanilla ending ARE delusional, those thinking "Inoda will corrupt are girls" are a bit too, because Fujino specifically kept the plots separated and has changed a lot of things from the beginning too, such as Suguha's (And Sinon by connection) plot, they have taken a totally different path to what was originally written because Fujino specifically changed his original plan for them XP
Also, regarding something you said either, while I do agree those wishing for some vanilla ending in this game all the time are a bit much, I would like to say people DOES do the opposite also all the time XD Hell, there is a kinda-harem-SAO game in these forums too (Albeit with a very niche setting so not very popular) that I found to download a while ago, and like half the comments were more of people complaining about why it was Kirito fucking the girls instead of Kirito getting NTR-ed, so yeah, like a purple hippie would say, 'Perfectly Balanced'

Isn't that what the game is about???I was thinking about Asuna's quarantine and in my opinion it won't last two weeks, because we are forgetting about Kyoko... when she finds out that Asuna is locked in the hotel and that she is with Inoda, she will use all her influence and power to get her out of there.
