Well this is a nice surprise to wake up to! Looks like this update will have most if not all of Saturday. No mention of battle scenes but I am hoping they are in the game but it is a surprise. It has happened before that Fujino don't mention the battle scenes in the Progress Report. Also it says "Finish game context before Saturday night." in the last Progress Report already. I read the Chinese version and it says "Completed the game text for Saturday" which means he finished Saturday except all the CGs. Always read the Chinese version there are sometimes extra details than the English version.

If he release on 12/2 then that that means he has a entire 4 weeks to make the next update and release it on 12/30 or 12/31. That is a pretty standard time frame for a release. But it also depends on how long he spends on bugs in-between releases.
Looks like Fuijino is keeping up the pace well enough as usual, hopefully he's getting enough rest :O
Eeeh, King, is good to be positive, but to me that STILL feels like he's basically saying that the update ends before Saturday Night, aka we probably log into FOG as Kirito and the update ends there :O Feels like if he actually had started the 'ritual' we would have gotten him reporting about it, the lack of teases is also strange because Fujino usually never hesitated to post previews of at least the battle scenes as those are usually the least story-spoiling OxO

Are you saying that Asuna and Inoda will get there before Kirito? So we can only see the scene in the gallery like with Shinon and Suguha
I'm expecting no battle scenes as the CG count seems rather lacking. But I mean I wouldn't mind being pleasantly surprised in two days. I'm just expecting the update to end literally right before the ritual starts. Or maybe the ritual part (battle scene update) was always meant for Sunday. Which is weird, but Fujino's pattern for part 2 has been to make Saturday the big event majority of the time in the game.

We know there is FOG Saturday scene so update will have FOG. Since the update needs to finish on some big finisher, the only possible long scene right now is the ritual. Also the ritual will happen after they get the soul gem so I am hoping for battle scenes.
Of course maybe the FOG event on Saturday won't be about the ritual and they will do the ritual on Sunday instead.
I dont think he means with CG really CG. 2 CG ingame and irl are not much so I think he means CG = scenes.

But also, reminder that the ritual is split into several parts that Fujino without a doubt will use so he doesn't have to do it all in one go, so it's likely that even if they start the ritual the first part probably won't have any fighting :O
