That said, his latest update seemed to actually be really short. Does fugino normally make his updates this short length? This is my first time waiting for his update and overall, it just seemed really short a month's time of work. I'm wondering if this is typicall not the case for his progress.

Normally the updates are longer, but it's really dependent on how busy he is with his daytime job. Being on a work VISA in Japan, he's highly dependent on not losing his current job, so this can be abused to overwork him a bit. And if he wants to finish the game, he can't return to China cuz of their crackdown on adult content.

• Extract it
• Replace the contents of the www folder in the NW.js directory with your SAO game folder

This should help, but I can’t guarantee it will work, as I haven’t tested it on my own system.

alr, mb guys. it's just a parody game, i shouldn't have projected. but when some people talk shit about canon kirito (instead of this parody kirito) for no reason, it kinda feels like they're just hating to cope, like they never actually watched the show or just ride the hate train without knowing shit

Thats only the case in the anime. In the light novels Kirito does not have a harem as only Asuna likes him. The other girls never really grew to love him at all. Suguha fell for the avatar but not Kazuto and then stopped when she realized they were one and the same.

LMAO, these takes always fucking cracks me up, of people claiming to have 'read the novels' and then go and say that none of the girls like Kirito and say "it's only an anime thing", especially as someone who actually read the novels XD The girls' feelings for Kirito are ALL Canon, is just that SAO isn't really a harem at all, all the girls accept and support KiriSuna wholeheartedly (Which avoids all the silly harem tropes of the girls fighting over the guy) but that doesn't make their feelings any less real, ESPECIALLY Suguha, I swear is gut-busting to see people saying "she only fell for Kirito and stopped when she realized he was Kazuto" when the ENTIRE fucking arc is based around her feelings for her Onii-chan and how hard she's trying to get over it, which is the only reason she tried to make herself fall for Kirito, and even the narration states blatantly that the only reason she fell attracted to Kirito was because of how similar she felt he was to Kazuto. Especially when she's the ONLY one of the girls who actually CONFESSED to him onscreen. All she did was accept to put his happiness above her own (Which she did twice over in that arc) like a mature person, but she still very much likes him, the novels even make it more blatant because there are several bits of narration and PoVs that the anime completely removes and even whole sidestories that make it especially obvious (One is even fully VOICED as a whole-ass drama CD even XD). Liz and Silica are self-explanatory, those 2 are obvious as fuck even without the sidestories, but they literally SAID IT OUT LOUD again during Alicization's ending. Funnily enough, the only canon girl who hasn't actually shown directly romantic attraction in a blatant way to him was Sinon, and even then hilariously she's the most popular non-Asuna pairing for him amongst the fandom because despite that they somehow have some of the best chemistry when they work together.

Hell, the 'not-harem' is so blatant that the AUTHOR HIMSELF wrote a non-canon Harem Ending to the original Web Novel ages ago, approved by Asuna and everything, hilariously called "There Is But One Ultimate Way", as a pseudo-joke

Don't blame yourself, I also got stuck there for like 5 minutes, between how dark it was and the fact there was just one small gap to pass it was easy to get lost if you were rushing instead of trying out every 'wall' carefully one by one XP

Kirito doesn't have a harem, it's not canon. Girls like him because of his character and they only befriend him as a companion and a friend. Sinon and Alice don't have feelings of love for Kirito, he's only for them as a friend and a companion. Kirito and Asuna are a couple, Kirito is faithful and loyal to Asuna. I play SAO NTR just because Asuna is sexy and one of the waifu from SAO. For me SAO NTR is just a fantasy, I am a fan of the Kirito couple. I separate canon from SAO NTR fan hentai. The sources are LN, side stories written by author Kawahara and there is no harem in LN. The girls in the SAO anime do not try to take Kirito away from Asuna, they only respect their love and support Asuna and Kirito.

Ok I finally figured out why all the recent updates seem to suck so much compared to the earlier updates. People say because it's too slow but that is really not it.

It's because there is just nothing to do. In the earlier updates there was actually a city to explore. In fact I was annoyed that I wasn't sure that I always got all all the content. Now it's just point A to B with a minor (and obvious) distraction. In this case the workplace laptop but nothing else. This update seems good, but only because the one thing we all have been waiting for finally happened but it's really not. It's just a natural story climax right now.

Even the story telling got worse.

The treehouse incident is the perfect framework so just repeat that. Instead of Kirito fighting off screen and then switching, show Kirito fighting that guy and give us a sneak preview of Asuna fucking Inoda.

Agree with you the game is worse off without exploration. In Part 1 in-between plot events you can go out of your way to see NPCs and see what their subplots are developing. They had nothing to do with the plot but it was still a fun to thing to do. In the early parts of Part 2 you can still explore the city and sometimes you found the other characters mini-events and see what they are up to. But there was a reason for why exploration was removed. After a while all the mini-events were causing a lot of bugs. So the game had to be streamlined to focus on the main plot. It sucks but I understand why exploration had to be removed.

The story I don't have strong opinions. You like or you don't. Not much to say about it.

The treehouse event was PEAK! Nothing like hearing Swordland play while Kirito is protecting Inoda so he can safely plow Asuna! But at least Fujino has been trying to switch up his events so there are some variations. The Gem Cave Maze last update and the Final Ritual Heart monitor this update were fairly fun alternatives to peak at what Inoda and Asuna is doing behind Kirito's back. It was not as peak as the treehouse event but it is a high bar to surpass!

Yes, in general, I don't care about Asuna and Inoda. Inoda, even though he's fuck Kyoko, he could only get a job as a janitor. So if you imagine their future, it's not very enviable if Asuna is constantly pregnant and Inoda is too dumb to get a proper job. They'll cling to Kyoko and live off her money. Yeah, so many ruined lives because of a big dick and a dumb woman. It's funny that some authors in their NTR games present the fact that the heroine stays with some fat old homeless man as a victory, and the normal guy she cheated on lost - even though he's an ordinary guy, studies and lives and this guy has a normal future.

And at the moment, in Fujino's game, I'm more interested in finding out how the plot ends with the Council and whether Sinon and Suguha will win their battles.

From what we know, it should be a pretty long scene. Lots of dialogue. Lots of progression. They go from 'okay maybe one anal' to 'okay I'll be your sex friend and let you fuck my pussy, with a condom'. And we know it's not a one and done because the room has at least three spent, full condoms strewn around. That said, I feel like it should be mostly done after five days of extra work? But maybe he needs the weekend to polish it off. We'll see.
